In 2014 elections, BJP got 29%, LJP got 6.5% and Kushwaha's party got 3%. JDU got 15.5%. So after the exit of Kushwaha what is the equation? Has BJP strenghtened or weakened? The new share of BJP plus allies is over 50% in Bihar and you say BJP is finished.
Kushwaha got 3% due to voters of BJP and you say that with 3% its a big fish/party.

Kushwaha left due to seat distribution. In 2014 JDU was not part of alliance so BJP got a lot of seats to give small players. Now after JDU is back in seat sharing is becoming problem. BJP was not in mood to give him something good so he left. It's like BJP got bigger ally and left smaller one.

He's getting a bit prematurely excited, it happens when you haven't won anything in a while. BJP is still well positioned to come to power in 2019 with Modi, and once this happens; MP, RJ and KAR are all states that can be flipped.
That, my friend, is a Congress view point.
But let us say, corporate India thinks Modi is a joke, they still prefer him over your chap. And that is a problem. The rest of India, is still a view point of the media story and the Congress line.
Do not take the wins in those states as an endorsement of Pappu. If you do, 2019 will be a rude awakening.

I think bjp will win next elections but modi wont be the PM. Just like how the italian room service had to step down and give the crown to a mute.
Because BJP will become extinct for another decade of they only rely on Modis face value after the next term, they need a long term strategy and modi shouldn’t be part of it.

You will see the emergence of Gadkari, post the Modi era. Maharashtra is hence, crucial for the BJP.
In MP & RJ elections, the voting percentage difference is so low that just a 2-3% swing to one side will create a vote difference of 4-6% and add to that about 1% NOTA voters who might make a choice in GE 2019. Such a difference of 5-7% in favour of either party will create a sweeping mandate. Majority of people who voted against BJP in MP & RJ had clearly stated that they will vote for Modi in 2019. So the writing is on the wall as to who is likely to win these states in 2019.
Once BJP crosses the '19 hurdle, I wouldn't be shocked if they flip MP, RJ and KAR state Gvt's too (in Karnataka's case things have already begun boiling over due to cabinet expansion).
If BJP wins 2019 congress might lose MP and Karnataka. But Rajasthan will only be possible after 5 years.
