UP, Maharashtra voting low turnout so far. Bengal inching towards 80+%, Mamta goons at work, Bengal burning, constitutional machinery breakdown. 7 phase polling in 42 seats still not enough forces to secure booths. Nice video here-

In other news SP local leaders tightened by local admin in Kannauj, Dimple Yadav in a tight spot and SP changed candidate from Varanasi and now suspended BSP Jawan Tej Bahadur will be fighting as MGB candidate on SP symbol, both news may be connected, maybe not.

Most SP 1st family seats are in trouble, barely any safe except that of Mulayam but they may still win.

it probably won't bro.
ECI must do something to stop booth capturing in WB and Orissa. Rest I am very sure of my numbers. I am giving 60 seats to BJP in UP and this loss will be made up from Kerala, Kar, TN, Orissa and Andhra+Telangana. I am not counting any seat from WB for the 282 which BJP got in 2014. The numbers from MP, Gujrat, Maharashtra, Delhi, UK, HP, J&K, RJ and Bihar will remain same as 2014 or improve.

Elections 2019: Vijay Mallya's son-in-law Samar Singh campaigns for Parth Pawar
The Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) are blaming the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for shielding fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya, while his son-in-law is helping Parth Pawar in campaigning. Parth is the grand nephew of NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, and is contesting in the Lok Sabha elections from Maval constituency.

Parth, 29, is the son of former deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar. He is contesting against Shrirang Barne from the Shiv Sena who won the seat in 2014. The Sena-BJP alliance has given him another chance to contest, as he had won the Sansad Ratna Award.

Parth has often been seen accompanied by Samar Singh, who is married to Mallya's step-daughter, Laila. Singh is a businessman and investment banker based in the USA. Sources say Singh also handles Parth's social media. Asked about him, Parth said, "Samar and I have been friends for a long time. He campaigns for me like my other friends. Why should he be blamed for Mallya's wrongdoings? He is also returning to the US."

Singh was unavailable for comment but a friend of his said, "Samar and Parth are friends from Mumbai and know each other for ages. Samar and his wife are not much connected to the Mallya family as has been portrayed. Samar had joined Parth out of curiosity to see his friend contest the election and had visited few places with him to see the real situation. He has gone back to the US."

BR has best coverage on the subject.

Especially liked their reporting of whats going on in WB and what needs to be done with jihadidi and the didiots to have any chance of fixing that utter thug/mob control autocracy.

So far NDA is doing quite well is word on the street, but of course lets see in the end....they should not get overconfident and have repeat of 2004.

@Nilgiri sir,
i too agree about BR extensive coverage and also following 543 hope he is right otherwise we are doomed .
but dont you think bjp itself is responsible for the mess in bengal what prevented them from using heavy handedness , agreed president rule is now a days difficult to defend in the court but certainly situation could have been created which would have made law and order issues too difficult to handle for TMC thus pretext for prez rule .

you cant expect to win fighting with dharma against the cunning demons, time for lord rama in politics is long gone ,lord krishna is the need of the hour

and what about this

....they should not get overconfident and have repeat of 2004.
Exactly what I think they will end up with. It's a hung Parliament. Not necessarily a bad thing. Let Pappu + the rest wrestle over the next 2 - 3 years. The downside is PDF will be unbearable. In spite of their miserable conditions. We can take things forward from 2021-22 . Hopefully, Modi + AS will realise the limitations of BS by then & focus on the achievables.Just my gut feeling and 2 cents.

If BJP can win 10 seats in WB this time, and modi stays in power in centre till 2024,mamata will lose next state elections.
Mamata fighting desperately to keep bjp less than 5.Because going from 2 to 10 is very difficult, but from 10 to 25 not so much.
WB with 42 seats is the 3rd largest, but due to historical stupid leftists/tmc leadership it has never leveraged its democratic bargaining power to strike deals with central governing parties for development. If BJP comes to power hopefully
1.This can change, and development begin with the end of nonsense blind obstruction to central projects by mamata.
2.Votebank appeasement politics ceases.
3.Bangladeshi illegal immigration is dealt with.
4.Anti national elements are disciplined.
