Everything aside I always get intrigued about the fact that why these left ' liberals' always try to equate every wrong doing ( in their point of view) to terrorism? Why they want to make terrorism a common word while it is a heinous act of highest degree? I think if we get the answers of these questions most of the security problems in our country will get solved.
Here is my two paise attempt at explaining it :
Terrorism single-handedly unites the country. Doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, what background you have, everybody comes together when our country is hit with a terror attack.
That alone is the biggest threat to LeLi politics. If there are no oppressor & oppressed, how do you pit our people against each other. Unity among people is a deal breaker to such kind of politics. The LeLi cannot change the reality of who is doing jihad, so they do their best to "normalise" it by comparing it to just about every other real/perceived offence.
Exactly that was my point you have explained it very well, thankyou for that. Now the only thing we have left to find is why these commies have formed an unholy alliance with Islamic extremists? Aren't commies atheist and against all form of dogmas? AND Islamist are against atheist and in their religion it is right to kill them? We must find it out.
Let me also spare a couple of paise of my own.
Those who believe that terrorism unites the whole country, also believe that terrorism is terrorism and has no faith.

Maybe he has used term country instead of Dharma but then again they and not separable and I don't consider those people my countrymen who put their religion before the country. Read the second part of his answer please.

I mean that statement can hold in case of say a country like Poland. So it's not completely wrong. Can you elaborate on your points?

That part is pretty easy isn't it ? Communists want a "revolution" to un-seat those in power and take power for themselves. Anybody and everybody that can help with that is an ally. Be that the naxals or the jihadis or any other agents of chaos and destruction, they are all allies against a common enemy.
They are fine with any kind of allies despite their personal reservations. Besides the jihadis/naxals(or "combatants" let's say) despite their personal beliefs, are expendable anyway. As such any alliance with them is beneficial for the commies.
The Govt. of India, despite their blundering ways, is still a formidable opponent to go against. You're gonna need all the guns you can hire/recruit.
Again the same reason. To fight the govt. find everybody that can help. Be that the exploding Abdul or the eminent intellectual Dr. Chatterjee.
I believed that too. Somewhere along the way I stopped. You'd forgive me if I scoff when someone says that at an incident where the terrorist was screaming Ola hu Uber.
The driving ideology was religion. No sugarcoating will change that.
If you believe a Muslim hit unites all Indians including all 200 million Muslims, then you believe terrorism is simply violent people being sociopaths, and not doing something because of Islam.

Just a couple of days back we were discussing politics amongst colleagues. And were appreciating Pawar saheb's deft politics and long tenure of keeping his nose clean regardless of changing political fortunes at the state and center ....

He is the richest Politician in India. Even more than Gandhi family. Second is Chiddu and after that comes Gandhis. Chiddu could have made more money but he loved bollywood actresses. And anyone asking for a favour had to either meet his demand for money or get him the heroine of his choice. The other person fond of heroines was P Patel.
I certainly hope he gets his just desserts. A few years in prison. But given his age & condition, he'd kick the bucket much before this & other cases reach the trial stage.
