A solid armour formation is extremely effective. Those 100 soldiers will be mushed to death before they get anywhere near to even setting up their atgms.
Tanks never work alone.
Rocket artillery in rear, attack helicopter in air, ifv & apc supporting the armour thrust and mobile vshorads. This is the failure on the part of both Ukraine and Russia that they haven't been able to put it together.
But if tomorrow USA launches a conventional thrust, tanks will be the center of it.
