Yes. All muslims learn the Koran by rote . The language is archaic Arabic which is unintelligible to the modern arabic speaker too unless he's been trained in it .

It may come as a surprise to you that even upto the graduate level in Madrassahs they aren't taught the exegesis of the Koran .

In fact their true study of it , in great depth happens only in their equivalent of the masters degree in modern education .



Include suppression of the malpractices of their own in it . Basically Islam itself is for by & of people who believe in conquests & loot. It succeeded upto the 16th century when they controlled vast parts of Asia upto India SE Asia & the habitable parts of Africa where 3 of the premier Empires in the world belonged to them viz the Ottomans , the Safavids & the Mughals.

With the advent of the Europeans who with their emphasis on universal education , a scientific spirit , a will for exploration & risk taking along with the benefits of science & technology out gunned the Muslims in the art of looting & empire building. They haven't recovered since & by the looks of it won't recover this century as well .

(Pakistan is a good example of this . These empires existed for the benefit of a small elite with the rest meant to serve those elites. As long as the scope for conquest & loot existed , Pakistan would've thrived. Since it doesn't , Pakistan bis where it is today . Ditto for Afganistan. )

A good example would be the oil sheikhdoms of the Gulf . They could establish the finest universities there promoted universal education , encouraged science & technology drives by their population yet have they ? And in the next 2-3 decades oil & gas particularly the former wil lose its importance & consequently it's currency in geo poltics.



An anecdote :

An apocryphal story goes that when Hulegu Khan grandson of Chinggis Khan captured Baghdad & had the last Abbasid Caliph presented before him , he asked him to explain in one line the essence of Islam without which Islam wouldn't survive.

The story goes on to say the Caliph replied - it's the will of Allah . In which case I can have your head cut off as Allah wishes it , Hulegu responded .

What about order in the universe - Hulegu asked . The Caliph affirmed - yes it's important . In that case , if a kafir can ensure order over a Muslim in a province whose rule would be superior ? asked Hulegu . The Caliph responded - the Kafir's.

Hulegu thanked him & had him crushed to death rolled in carpets by the hooves of horses since the Mongols believed spilling of royal blood in any land they occupied was inauspicious & a sign of destruction to come.

That's precisely the policy China's following without explicitly stating it to be so .

My point is left to their own devices Muslims would neither be modernised nor would they assimilate . The story of the 54 muslim majority nations is before you , most 90% + Muslims in terms of demographics with their religious minorities living in the same manner as dhimmis were in the bygone days . Yet there's grave strife in their societies.

The only exception to these can be Turkey & Iran with Bangladesh , Egypt & Indonesia as outliers in the mid to long term for which they need a lot of working to at least build a platform from where they can launch themselves .

I've no hope for any other Muslim nation particularly the Arab nations.

I had read the stories of the Mongol Invasion in Middle East .When I see the timeline its feels like ironic .The Karma works in a secret way.
Or just be a coincidence.
As per official records the destruction of Nalanda by Islamic Turkic invaders happened around 1197 AD.That same year the culmination of power struggle in Mongolia happened.After defeating the rival Jamukha Temujin became Genghis Khan.Almost 20 years after in 1220 Mongols under Genghis Khan raided the Turkic Khwarazmaian Persian Empire .An invasion that was so brutal that Iranian population had to wait until 19th century to become same like pre Mongol conquest.
Then comes the Hulagu Khan .Siege of Baghdad was even brutal that it seems even now they couldnt reach stability.What ever the Invaders did against Nalanda repeated even brutally in House of Wisdom in Baghdad.
Irony as per record Hulagu was a partial Buddhist.
Still through their faith Islamic forces were able to divide Mongols turns Golden horde against Hulagu .

What's the chances of a new Pashtunistan being created incorporating KPK + FATA? The way things are proceeding in Afghanistan it's only a matter of time before the non Pashtuns sink their differences & team up with the goal of securing their own homeland i.e Partition of Afghanistan.

Paxtan with their usual strategic blindness would back them. Once the Pashtuns & non Pashtuns reach some sort of agreement , they focus wholesale on KPK + FATA.Something on the lines of what Israel was attempting when they pushed Palestinians into Jordan in 1973 resulting in Black September which Hussain Of Jordan ruthlessly crushed with some support from PA particularly Qana Mullah aka Zia.

Of course this wishful scenario would take decades to fructify & it may not even be in the form I've described it or maybe not at all

You're forgetting this war is largely being waged on Pashtun lands between Pashtuns. Sarkari Pashtuns on one side & TTP - AT on the other with Pashtun bystanders caught in the middle. Pindi boys will give a damn only if this problem spreads to Punjab or Karachi. Otherwise whatever the casualties on either side It's Pashtun casualties.

Thousands crowd the recruitment grounds for the post of constables in Paxtan. All this while security forces are being targeted & killed every day all over Paxtan especially KPK & Balochistan.


This is why TTP & AT will fail. The number of applications for this measly job far exceeds the total population of Afghanistan + KPK. No wonder the generals are at ease. The same line is diverted to the LeT, JeM, etc.

That's why the escalation matrix should next involve Bahawalpur & Muridke.

Meanwhile Paxtan's RRR , Maula Jatt has been cleared for release by the censors in India but hasn't found outlets as local groups have threatened action if released .

Ostensibly the lead actor is a supporter of LeT & has tweeted frequently in his favour. Unofficial reason is you know what. Amazing, how things & times change .

Post 9/11 SRK was in favor of Paxtani cricketers playing in the IPL backed up by the LeLi liars including the infamous Burkha Dutt of UNDYTV fame. Anybody saying otherwise was shouted down. Today's the exact opposite.

Sidharth Varadarajan of The Liar infamy has lamented India turning into a fascist state for the 1.35 billionth time on his tweets.

The only way to deal with Pak Army is regular accidental firing of Brahmos missile on GHQ Rawalpindi, Karachi Port and Oil tanks and Sargodha Air force base (after every terrorist attack in India) and a serious threat of Full on War if they try to escalate. In the mean time LoC should be made TOO HOT TO HANDLE for Pak Army with regular surgical strikes, fire assaults, using regular artillery and if required even drones and fighter planes... 😡😡
