I thought it goes both ways at Republic. On PDF, bans are handed out. Ask me? 2 time lifetime ban here in the nearly 11-12 years of online blogging. I think @Guynextdoor bettered me. As did bawa and a few others.

True that. As a general rule of thumb, the Pakistani leadership lack integrity, so that simply trickles down even to the lowest levels in order to push their agenda.

Agree with you. I have spoken to a couple and the IQ level is below par - in the real world they are nobodys but when they have a label next to their name - they suddenly become one of Stan Lee (RIP) creations.

Netherlands recalls staff after threats at embassy in Pakistan
The Netherlands recalled staff from its embassy in Pakistan following threats after providing shelter to the lawyer of a Christian woman in a blasphemy case, the Dutch foreign minister said on Monday.
“Unfortunately threats have been made against the Netherlands, Dutch diplomats,” Foreign Minister Stef Blok told national NPO radio. “I discussed the issue with my Pakistani colleague.”
The embassy briefly closed earlier on Monday and “a large number of staff” returned to the Netherlands, Blok said.
No one answered the telephone at the Dutch embassy after office hours on Monday.
Pakistan seeks Europe’s help to secure IMF loan
ISLAMABAD - Pakistan has sought help from European countries to ensure smooth sailing during talks at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Board for securing a bailout package and recovering ‘stolen’ assets, presumably stashed in the European states, including Switzerland.
The interaction with the envoys took place a day before the start of policy-level talks with the IMF team which is in town to negotiate a bailout package. IMF’s Washington-based Mission Chief Harald Finger on Monday joined the talks on the last day of the technical round.
