At present you have the situation where they started with a 2-state solution of equal land masses, the other side tried wiping out Israel several times and lost land, then every time Israel gave back land they ended up paying for it with lost lives, atrocities and hostages taken. Very little incentive for them to make that mistake again. There will need to be a prolonged period of peace before a 2-state solution occurs.

Satanyahu's right & by the beard of Nasrallah , Hezbollah has made plenty of enemies in Lebanon who've kept quiet only coz of the immense power Hezbollah accumulated & of course Iran & Syria's backing.
Satanyahu's banking on the Lebanese to rise up against Hezbollah . They'd do it once the I D F have further weakened them to the point where it's very difficult to rise up again or at the very least recover quickly.
For that to happen will take a few more months of intense campaigning , pay off to factional leaders in Lebanon & heavily arming them apart from co ordinating action on them .
