Looks like SMQ jumped the line and called for the presser, before consulting Bajwa on what to speak/not speak. Don't see any reason for a midnight presser just to say IK and Trump had a chat over the phone!!

It’s all brinkmanship on the old pattern.

Expect Dimran to tell Trump that hawks in the army are pressing for war. Get India in line or I am out and the army will go for war. Throw in buzzwords like nuclear flashpoint. Get the US president to put on his save the world shoes.

Thing is India won’t concede on 370. Pakistan has nothing else to demand. What’s on stake here ? Any ideas?
