This is fooling the people. hizbul is not same as ISIS and LET & JeM.
3 terrorists and 1 Over Ground Worker killed in Pulwama encounter. Good Work Boys.
1. “We prepared dinner for them. Before they slept, we talked a lot,” says Amal. “I was excited that Burhan had come to our house.”
2. Amal couldn’t naturally enjoy a peaceful sleep. The most wanted man in the Valley had come to their house unannounced and was spending the night there.
100% contradiction. right in one article. she was excited and talked with wani about militancy and kashmiri haal chaal before going to sleep and couldn't sleep cause she was worried about the most wanted man sleeping in her house ? are you effing kidding me ?
this is what should happen to these folks. they are rightfully the collateral casualty.
I read that as well. However, this also presents an opportunity to turn that south Kashmir village away from separatist influence . What happened is irrelevant, the fact of the matter is that the peoples of village is considered as enemies/traitors by the wider separatists in the region. The way I see it, anyone/any community under treat from wider separatists under any circumstances need to be supported by Government of India. Inaction will only result in lost opportunities.
Look what happened to the pro-militant communities in Jammu sector. Back in 90s, a sizable section of Jammu muslim communities were inclined to militants and many supported militants by acting as scouts, giving them safe houses etc. However, we manages to destroy the narrative of militants by carefully utilizing the opportunities we got (militant attacks and vandalism aganist the members of community and aftermath) and by the end, same peoples who once supported militants become members of `village defence committees` and militant base in Jammu is wiped out. We need deep infiltration into Kashmir valley, if it is one village, then it is one village. The point is to never leave an opportunity to weaken separatist influence and chip away as many peoples as possible. We are in a long war, and we need to realize it and act accordingly.
these guys will never come to our side.
I disagree with you, I have some Kashmiri colleagues during my College, most of them were anti-India but some changed over time and accepted their fate, that they cant fight India. One guy is a Captain or SI rank in CRPF medical core. He's very pro India after he joined CRPF. You cant make all of them come over to our side, but as time passes they will have to accept that they will never be able to separate Kashmir from India, they will give up and join our side.these guys will never come to our side.
Oh I beg to differ. It will depends on how determined we are. We had thousand of former militants fighting on our side in the late 90s and early 2000s. The districts in Jammu that once had significant militant influence is now pro India with tens of thousands serving in army, paramilitary and reserve army. There are hundreds of thousands from valley serving India in police/Army/reserve army/paramilitary/ as we speak. There are civil servants risking their life almost evry day. Even the chechens who fought a bloody total war with Russians are now pro-russian republic of Russia.
The main objective of militant leadership is to separate Kashmir from India emotionally, culturally and economically though terror activities, propaganda and then ultimately take over the Kashmir narrative domestically and internationally. When Indians like us say "these guys will never come to our side", which is the core of separatist narrative,it weaken the resolve of Kashmiries who are fighting for India and it also shows how weak our determination/narrative and how militant/separatists succeeded in taking over the Kashmir narrative even inside India. Militants are under no delusion they can defeat Indian army militarily, the real objective of the never ending militant attacks is to block any kind of economic/cultural/emotional integration of Kashmir with India and frustrate India to point where we give up.
