NIA raids Srinagar central jail, seizes phones, Pakistani flag and jihadi material
NEW DELHI: The NIA on Monday raided the Srinagar Central Jail and seized over two dozen mobile phones, jihadi literature and a Pakistani flag apart from data hardware, official spokesman said.
20 teams of the NIA, assisted by J&K Police, CRPF and NSG, carried out extensive searches inside the jail. The teams were accompanied by magistrates, witnesses and doctors.
They recovered 25 mobile phones, some SIM cards, five SD cards, five pen drives, an iPod and a large number of incriminating documents and articles, including a poster of terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen and a Pakistani flag. Jihadi literature was also seized.
The searches started early morning and continued till late afternoon.
All the barracks and the open ground were inspected thoroughly with deep search metal detectors, while drones kept a close watch on the entire operation.
The agency said the raids were conducted in connection with the investigation into the arrests of Danish Gulam Lone and Sohail Ahmed Bhat by Kupwara Police.

Kashmir's Kupwara encounter: 2 cops, 2 jawans martyred, 4 terrorists killed
Two Jammu and Kashmir policemen and two Army personnel were on Wednesday martyred in an ongoing encounter in Kupwara's Halmatpora. Two cops have sustained injuries. Sources say 11 terrorists including top commanders killed in 3-4 encounters in last 10 hours at Anantnag & Shopian of South Kashmir. One terrorist caught alive. 6-8 more terrorists could be trapped in one location. Names of Zeenat-ul-Islam, Sadam Padder, Naveed Jatt doing rounds.

This definitely looks like a well pre planned operation to wipe out Hizb and its top leadership from the valley. Now, I think we should focus on blaming ISIS for secretly providing us info. Further the divide among the the two factions..

Looks more like entrapment. They were lured and at right time executed.
Could be a meeting point planning something big otherwise you don't see so many jihadis at one place to avoid getting slaughtered in batch.
Forces maybe waiting from months for this moment, tracking some of them, listening to them and letting them live till this moment.
What's the news now, 4-5 more trapped ? other than the 11 already killed ? Looks like the local terrorists were lured into a false sense of security. As you said, later on lured and slaughtered.
