Northern command had dithered against a 1986-87 stye escalation and domination by force in the hope that this too could be resolved by negotiations and that China had an incentive to avoid violence. All those calculations and their supporters will have been sidelined by end of day unless a miracle occurs.

There is obviously going to be confrontation one or the other day its just we are postponing it. The problem is chinese have already decided to keep pushing through salami tactics and gain more territory and ensure no infra is developed by India. We are still dithering and deceiving ourselves by thinking that these can be resolved thru talks. Expect it to go till the brink.

Corona won't be over till July 2022 in India.

It was a 73 day stand off.. and pretty tense.. We would know whether he factored in a war, by his reactions today..

If there were no bullets used then its even worse. And if no bullets were used then how there were fatalities on the Chinese side?

What happened, did they beat each other to death? I so hope that we took at least 3-4 of them with us.
