Exactly. I agree to this 100 percent.
I had posted earlier in this thread itself that we are doing a huge blunder by allowing the Chinese to buildup.
Diplomacy doesn't work when the opposition is hell bent on fighting you.
The Chinese doesn't give rats a** to what the whole world thinks/does, they have their own agenda to push & they will push it no matter, come what may. If our military was used to bash the Chinese using the same time they are engaged in 'dialog' with them, the current scenario would have been different.
And you are able to judge that from sitting on your couch?
If media is political and our own forces are unreliable then what's left? Astrology? What is the point of all these discussions if there is no clear line of fact?
Strongly disagree, even if their numbers are not 100% accurate (not possible in most cases), their statements carry the most weightage, it's them who are responsible for defending our borders.

All soldiers on our side were equipped with rifles at the standoff. Except that magazines were kept removed from mag well and ammunition kept locked up at base as per on ground instructions. The only other equipment IA troops carried were some fibreglass rods and some daggers.
This simultaneously allowed the violence to stay limited and prevented IA from adequately retaliating. Take your pick.
A lot of own soldiers have severe blunt force trauma and deep punctures. Expect the list of the dead to go up.
There is an enormous ground swell of anger building up within the officers and jawans. Whatsap groups are exploding with rage and senior officers are being called out for not mounting an immediate action. It'll take some effort to bring down the temperatures on own side.

The agreements signed between India and China says to avoid skirmish respect boundaries.
Chinese come into India, and say agreement is about demarcated boundaries, there is no boundary so no rules broken.
Chinese don't use weapons they use tools to beat Indian soldiers, hence no rules broken as paper is not about using tools.
When the adversary wants to fight there are thousand of reasons for that. I just don't understand why Indians don't think like that. Rules which are on paper can be followed but which are not?
When Chinese patrol came they may have waited for the green signal from Beijing. After NoKo pounded some office at the border, green signal was given to PLA to go aggressive in Ladakh.
It only points to one thing failure of information at IA's disposal. They were not ready for this.

Seriously if this is true then we have been trapped badly by chinese .we frequently go to them for negotiation where they easily outnumber us, with no sanction for weapon use ,we will always end up in captivity whenever Chinese wish.
I hope top brass should have gone through this whole charade of no shot firing or will the army always pays for the cowardiceness of the political master
If this is true then i am glad Chinese have spent their element of surprise rather foolishly.
