I do not agree with such rhetoric. Yes, we should fight and escalate. But to achieve what? To become like Pakistan? Cite one country which has got into a real fight and have prospered in the last 50 years? Or to achieve a specific goal? What do you think should be our specific goal vis-a-vis China and Pakistan? Get POK and Aksai Chin? At what cost?

Israel has strategically defended its land and people over time. Same with India when it created Bangladesh. US has been in consistent war since the 50's to grow its Military Industrial Complex and in the process have indebted entities within the country as well in the rest of the world.

And why do you think we haven't used physical force and everything else, except weapons. It is decades of ceasefire on LAC. Let's explore what other options are there to win a war. Didn't US defeat USSR in the Cold War without them getting involved.

And yes, if we can achieve an outcome many times bigger than our investment/efforts or loss in a war (whatever you may like to call it), then yes, use the weapons. Or when there is a true and reliable synergy created with our partners in a war to achieve an outcome. Not until then.

If the enemy uses weapons first, then India will decide when to stop using it from our side.

I think instead of over the top sensationalist articles by Eurasian Times & Ajai Shukla you need to view this discussion which encompasses the history of this place, the various reasons why China may have undertaken what they have & India's various options.
