But I highly doubt it will happen.

Skirmish between india china wont see any fighter, mostly chinese will stick to its rocket artillery. Since, historically we are hesitant in elevating the risk ladder we too will stick with rocket artillery.
Just like Indians are evacuation experts , Chinese are doing the same. Remember India evacuated it's citizens from China? Nothing else!
China is investing money, India is not. In India you have to feed gareeb lachar, chamar, bechar, pichda etc first. When something is left out of that, then you think of investing money abroad. Brahmos is a costly system, no one will buy the way you want to sell.
Not only electronic items all toys are coming from china, even ganesha idols sold on market are chinese. We public cannot stop buying chinese equipment if government didn't impose any sanctions on chinese products.
Best slap will be for India to recognize Taiwan and allow Taiwan to open an embassy in New Delhi, preferably in Chanakyapuri opposite PRC embassy.
That money investment is becoming albatross across all those nation's necks.
There is no place opposite to Chinese embassy, its australian embassy and you can't ask them to move away, and you cant use SP Marg gol chakker for taiwan embassy, and ajacent to that there is some other high comission, left is road ka divider that's not enough. LOL No place.
India is also not the same, but the difference between china & india is widening day by day. And i feel our defense capabilities are declining after kargil war, no major military purchases with significant quantity has not materialized.
Look at them, they have now numerical &technological advantages, even some are nich technology.
China may be trying to play bluff that it means business to make war. Maybe, it may fizzle out too.
But if it happens otherwise, we will witness great fireworks. And one never know, India may end up reclaiming Aksai Chin
Most of the times Indians are busy in Politics, and other nonsensical issues. over 50% population in India doesn't want to work. They are happy being BPL and with MNREGA ration. The diference will increase, Chinese are already 15- 20 years ahead and US is 150 years ahead.
In India, implementation of Hindi, over Tamil or Tamil over Hindi, reservation, Jaat gurjar, chamar, SC ST are more important issues than development. Haye hum ghareeb haye hum pichdey.
When every one wants to stay backwards you think this country will develop? Modi is the last hope for Indians if he does something before stepping back then you can think of some positivity other wise same will come and become your leaders.
They will give little, and show they have done some favour on you. This has been happening. I always say, Shastri was one actual PM, but the politics in India so dirty that your own people did not want to tell the nation what happened to him in Tashkent.
