Yup, if not for chinese we would be their next obvious target. They wont let any other country grow other than themselves. Fact is most ppl forget that except in patches here & there US always been working against India. Its only recently due to chinese dominance they are courting India.

Not major regional power , any thing where the interests clash you are an enemy. If tmmrw they want to support pakistan bcos they want to fight Iran then India will become a target again.

We can't play both ways. We want the Chinese to dominate at the same time we expect them to not bully us. As much as we need to end the Anglo-Saxon imperialism we also need to understand that it's the west that is a weakening power and it will throw resources to anyone who can fight a war. Wish our leadership dupes these white scums and make money of it.

If we are smart we will play them both ways. We need to pit them against each other and benefit from it.

Unless one assumes that IA does not or will not take into account deployment of hostile assets and their capabilities to inflict damage while deploying own assets is foolishness

I no general but if I am threatened by artillery and MBRLs I will opt for reverse slope defence , put my troops and equipments ( or move them ) along slope of an elevated terrain such as a hill, ridge, mountain, etc . There is no shortage of such geological features in the said sector and can be taken advantage of as and when the situation demands.

This is just one of the tactics I can think of to negate MBRLs etc . And I am no military . Those in service will have much better ideas .

Reverse slope works well in areas where there are tall mountains and not gentle gradients. So, a mixed bag for us.

That is the reason why both sides have to keep their forces dispersed and there won't be an effective concentration of forces, much needed in mountains to effectively launch an attack with an intent to hold territory.

Let it, after all we want all of the citizens of this great nation to be nationalist, am i right?

They ignored our military, Thats why india has voted against them in 2014.
And our army need free hand in giving reply to the enemy, if congress or any other political party learned that lessons that we indians do care about our self pride thats a good thing. After all either congress or any other part will come in center in future for sure, they need to follow the military doctrine of this government.
