Strategies for a #TwoFront Dilemma: Lessons from History

He has a good point. But I don't know if we could have negotiated better to not vacate Kailash Ranges without a war. India never wanted a war and if we hear the Lt. Gen, he said we occupied those heights to be in a better negotiating position.Sadly, Indian leaders fail to learn from history, so history keeps repeating itself. Indian PMs repeatedly have surrendered at the negotiating table the major gains from the sacrifices of the fallen. Today India is a “lamb” state, surrounded by “wolf” China and “jackal” Pakistan.

As #China officially lies that only "4" of it's soldiers died at #Galwan it may be time to release the recorded intercepts of PLAGF communications detailing 43 dead .

Actually these Mard-e-chowmein soldiers come with the offer of buy 1, get 10 free and hence the normalization of 43 to 4.As #China officially lies that only "4" of it's soldiers died at #Galwan it may be time to release the recorded intercepts of PLAGF communications detailing 43 dead .

Depsang will prove to be infinitely more tricky than Pangong. It’s a friction point that goes way beyond the 2020 Ladakh standoff. Here’s why: pic.twitter.com/IbzXUlVNZl

No. But they may try to create an "incident".

1. The sudden open "withdrawl" - PRC 'wishes for peace'.
2. "Public anger" over images/videos of "Galwan Clash".
3. Next clash, the "Public Opinion forced China to teach India a lesson".
Counterview - why even acknowledge we can intercept anything. Did we learn nothing from publicizing Musharraf's phone call during Kargil. Let all data come in. Why let the other side know we can snoop in and prompt them to change. As #China officially lies that only "4" of it's soldiers died at #Galwan it may be time to release the recorded intercepts of PLAGF communications detailing 43 dead .

I think this was released in Taiwan. What possible control would we have over there?Counterview - why even acknowledge we can intercept anything. That's what I felt when I first saw the video. The entire incident seems staged for domestic consumption. I believe our show of triumphalism & Chinese citizens asking what exactly was accomplished by the PLA in withdrawing from Pangong Tso may have prompted this. It may also prompt a rethink from their end on full withdrawal & restoration of status quo ante across the LAC. Not that they have committed to it in as many words.*** Not a troll post ***

Does anyone feel the guy with a Bihar patch looks even remotely Indian ?
The happenings are real but they have tried to record it in a way that we look like the aggressors. This seems prior to the galwan fight in Col. Babu died..That's what I felt when I first saw the video. The entire incident seems staged for domestic consumption. #WATCH Congress' Husain Dalwai says, "...No one from their side died, only our jawans died...How can you send our jawans without arms? They could've fought but didn't get chance. They just had sticks. Is this RSS shakha? Why send soldiers? Send RSS people. They'll guard border." pic.twitter.com/5XVGyFLV6I

Today was a telling chapter in how the PLA fought to recover from what it hates the most — surprises. My piece on China’s Galwan tamasha today https://t.co/owS3PSdNS6
