LOL you do sound like Retarded kid at the most
400 German leopards 2 are enough for facing Russian tank army?
300 Leclerc? haha

The Russians have in past fought and won tank wars and one of the biggest tank wars.
Remember yoiu are talking of france, which was bundled up by germans in less than a month
Incidentally Sweden is not part of NATO.
Netherlands, how many tanks please???

The Russians have specialised Attack helicopters and aircrafts like Su-25 you are going to depend on Eurocopter tiger???

Germany and France they want to launch MBT mostly for exports, Can the germans and importantly the French afford to buy new tanks? NO
Its same as the 5th gen plan. Of course you did answer.. Germany and France are so poor that now they have to pool their resources to make new tanks and new planes which they really cannot afford to buy !!

France itself wants to keep Rafale well beyond 2050 this is 30 years from now, so the plane / tank should be ready since 2040 at least? That is a whole generation

Well that does answer me inspite of all resources why france can come up with a 4th gen plane when the Americans made 5th gen plane.,..
Simply no idea of what they want, or just no real clue

? An economical lesson by Smestarz ! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

What link with MBT ?
But for your information :

GB : 250 Challenger 2
D : 400 Leopard 2
Spain : 300 Leopard 2
F : 300 Leclerc
and some more.... Poland, Grece, NL, Denmark, Sweden....

More than enough to fight against the too few modern russian tanks and the hundreds of obsolete ones. All driven buy half alcoholics crew, not paid every month and seeing a fire training camp every 3/5 years....

Germany and France are so poor they decided to launch a new MBT and a new fighter....

400 German leopards 2 are enough for facing Russian tank army?
as ever you didn't read all the post before answering.... (keep calm and take your medicine Bro).

I've listed the MBT in europe. 1500 more or less. all up to date. I say it's more than enough to deal with the russian 90% old parc.

sure France, or Germany or Sweden... alone can't deal with. But all together it's peace of cake (better hardware, far better training, better tactics, better C3I, far better morale)

The Russians have in past fought and won tank wars and one of the biggest tank wars.
They mainly lost thousand and thousand tanks against german ones !
Only at the end, with the numbers...

Total WW2 : 7 russian lost for 1 german. And all german tank was not a Panther or a Tiger. Mainly PzIII and PzIV light medium tank.

Thats the problem. Too futuristic at the time led to subpar illdesigned. There will be a Conference for 6 months results the 18th by Trappier, sorry i will e on holidays.

futuristic but ineffective.
LM has to change it all....

And always in the same bad born body.

F-35 has been ill fated when they wanted to create a true 5th gen "stealth" plane by including half the NATO in it. if usa alone had created f35, it would have been a far far better plane. IMHO.

then the chinese hacking fiasco happened if i remember correctly. the f35 designers had to re do a lot of things since the original design and blue prints were stolen by the chinese state backed hackers.

F35 is a combination of an AWAC, a ground attack fighter, a fighter plane and a maritime fighter off the deck. see, there is the problem. they accommodated every important aspect and specialized in none.

The behaviour dear parthu, and its not like the article was a century ago.. Thats their behaviour which had actually caused AK Anthony not being eager to sign Rafale deal, They inncoently put some critical points in Miscellanous things? LOL

In what appears to be a rerun of the Scorpene project, around 50-60 ‘un-priced’ items are believed to have been listed as miscellaneous’ in Dassault’s offer for the Rafale which emerged as L1 or the lowest bidder in the MMRCA tender ahead of the Eurofighter.

MoD sources claim that it is these sundry articles that have emerged as the principal financial hurdle in negotiating the Rafale deal on the basis of its Life Cycle Cost based on keeping the fighter operational for four decades.

It appears that subsequent pricing by Dassault of these so-called miscellaneous but critical items -- like in the Scorpene tender -- in its deliberations with the MoD’s Cost Negotiation Committee, are responsible for significantly inflating the Rafale contract cost, jeopardising the vendors L1 status and delaying its closure.

Just to explain, its like selling Say 1000 sq ft house in prime area in Vizag at rs 20L and then being told that teh cost of rebars, the cement, the and bricks is extra ,, not much but when you count all the cost it ends up being 5 crore. I do assume you will still take it

You are aware that this isn't the deal we reached in the end right? Shows the problems were identified, sorted and finally deal signed in a way satisfactory to both sides.

I don't know what you imply by behaviour... If we start discussing 'behaviour' of Russians that will become a 1000 page thread.

The 36 Rafale order was inked after 2014..... ask yourself why.
