Bro don't make fun and don't discourage these guys

You are not able to grasp the significance of the work they are doing

Indian presstitidues have run thousands of incorrect and manipulated news even through they have access to correct sources.

Yet belittling these YouTube etc makers who have to rely on scant information and yet they come out with videos in support of Indian defence etc.

All these helps to fight online perception battles and combat the damage that malicious reportings by media / pork....... etc

An average indian is more into bollytard porn etc

You should be thankful that these guys help to bring in the average indians into defence matters , there numbers maybe small but something is better than nothing.

And nobody here or anywhere owns copyright to information etc ,

I have so much respect for them too!!!
Wish there was a way to let these guys know directly!!

Maybe you could tell your army boses to write them some letters and they will be so inspired that they get encouraged.
Or maybe you can do it personally.
Even a small fund like maybe Rs 1000 per month will make a huge difference since even if it is nothing financially, it'll be a huge morale booster.

I make fun of everybody, including myself. I don't do it as a disrespect, I just need to have some fun every now and then. We have a little banter going on about this guy, Anonymous and Ashwin.

He is a lot better and a lot more technically educated that the rest of the Youtube crowd, this is why I mention him and post his videos. I couldn't give a damn about the rest of the crowd. Wish he joined us here, but that might be problematic for his channel.

You are right he does help greatly to disperse the news of tech development and the ideas behind it. This is very helpful for budding defence enthusiasts. I went through phases of this myself. First was the google searches, wikipedia, youtube, new sites etc. Then to news aggregator sites and defence forums. Most people wouldn't go beyond the basics anyway.

Just wish we had more people willing to delve deeper into the sciences rarther than dwell on spec sheets and comparisons. Again I don't disrespect him or his contribution, we just have a harmless banter going on.

They do not care about discouragement because their motivation is money. That is what sustains them.
When we are the subject expert and when we see sensationalism and propaganda to get more views and clicks. We should be mocking and correcting them.

How exactly are they earning money? Look at the average views their channels get? It's not even 3-4k per video. Do you think they get massive remuneration from You Tube? Out here I've been seeing the so called amateur experts since years. I've rarely seen two of these experts agree on a something. It's merely a case of our speculation is better than their speculation. Give them some time, the wheat will be separated from chaff. Most will perish. A few will survive. Judge them on their content then. Besides, why grudge them what they earn. If you think they're bull shitting, call them out on their channels or correct their perspective, depending on your outlook.

What channel are you looking at? This amit guy got ~20k in one day for a video with zero substance. He crossed his monthly salary earning long back. In my college days, I made a substantial amount by 'blogging'. That was a decade ago. And i still got friends who made it a career. If you are in the bandwagon its not that hard. As i was saying before Youtube algorithms are hard. It demands frequency in uploads. Thus they are hard-pressed to make new video even if there is no new content.

Misleading with click baits is not speculation. Yes, I am judging them by the content. My earlier point was about motivation its not any 'grudge'. When incentives and motivations are not in the right place quality of the content will suffer. They do not need a certificate from me and vice versa. And i can judge or mock from my comfort zone why should i 'demand' anything.
 
Given the manpower i put in over these all these years
And i have zero rupees to show for it ,as it is i am as poor as a church rat.

I go away today as sad as one can be albeit as sad as a poor man can be :(

And another alternative

I open a YouTube channel and all you guys subscribe including your friends and relations .:unsure:
Seriously guys my laptop is 7 years old and by the looks of things i won't be able to do anything about it for the next 7 years .

What can I say? Perhaps, it's time to launch your own channel & face the music. With or without the watermarked content. You already know the gains & pains of blogging / vlogging.Who knows within a few years you'd earn more than what you would in a salaried job then & @randomradio would be taking you the cleaners here or @Sancho will & I'd be there to add fuel to the fire ! You need to get admission into JNU at the earliest for a PhD & continue till you're in your late 30's.You can you can also join the ABVP simultaneously & espouse their views there. Of course, it goes without saying you'd be able to earn enough to make content for your own personal You Tube Channels too. Plus contribute to this blog here & ridicule competition. Eshwin, pls note.
