Every highway project takes almost similar time frame to extract money. It is just the direct money we are talking about (tickets for statue/toll for highway), the ease of life around such project(statue and highway) is another goal.

I do not feel 9000 cr should be spent on statues, I do not see the justifications provided of imaginary cities being built along them and 35 year paybacks from ticket sales that you posted. To me it's a silly idea of parking close to 9000 crore's in illogical monuments, while the ones that we have, the historical sites are being turned to ruins due to mismanagement and poor upkeep.
Anybody play rugby here? I've been following Warrington in league this past 2019 season. I never understood why union is more popular than league. Maybe it's the crowd I hand out with that has biased me so much, so can someone give me a reason why union is more popular than league?

P. S - most guys here wouldn't be able to even name the 4 Vedas and yet call themselves Hindus. What's more they'd challenge you asking you how proficient you're on the Vedas? At least you've studied them. And we expect to combat an ideological heresy like khwarij aka wahabbism in Kashmir & the rest of India.
Disclaimer: haven't read the Vedas. Yet so proud "Yindu". I'm like this only.

I think its a valid question! I've been playing and watching rugby a lot recently, but its only been league. The guys who have introduced me to rugby are all die-hard league fans so I wanted some outside perspective. I know union is popular everywhere for a reason but watching it isn't nearly as entertaining
I don't believe you have to be well versed in order to practice the faith dutifully and, honestly, "veda studies" was a bit of a chore growing up. What kid wants to drive an hour to sit down for another 2 hours listening to some old guys every Sunday morning? Granted, I appreciated it more when I reached high school but still...it was dry. The classes were organized primarily by some followers of the Chinmaya Mission, if you're familiar with them.

You should read up how democratic institutions work. The role of civil society and the media, Checks and balances of different institutions etc. There is nothing moral or immoral about questioning. Those are basic rights. Civil society questioning on matters of military ? How can one question something if they have little understanding of? The only people who know what happened are the folks in the military and the Civilian leadership. You voted for them, hence you trust them to make the right decisions. When you start questioning, you ask for more information which military might not want to make public. Especially when operations are on going. Hence I am asking you to at least wait until this is over. Personally, we have no business questioning it. Systems are already in place for all that. IMHO National Security trumps Civilian Democracy, any day.
