The Foreign Affairs ministry should have sent someone to help navigate and manage the media interaction especially with state broadcasters and intl. media outlets that were outright hostile. If even that cannot be done, then hire a pvt. firm to do so. I assume nobody in India would have complained about the expense.

I follow the Rusisan media (I read Russian). If for e.g 8 missiles were fired and there is evidence of 2 explosions on the ground ad fragments of 6 intercepted missiles, one would tend to believe that they intercepted 6.
That is one reason NATO has not supplied more long range ATACMS or Storm Shadow/ Scalp. The stock they have will not cause any significant
damage.

There was a fear in the West that an Indo-Pak clash will go nuclear - because we are immature. Hence, the West will pressure us not to respond to something like Pahalgam. Both EAM and now CDS are making the point that neither side is irrational enough to start a nuclear war.
Pak launched drones at the Golden temple, for the same reason that they tried to bomb it in 1965. They feel that there is a Sikh separatist movement
they want to exploit.

There are Indian politicians that using Pak talking points to gain political capital. In the end this has become a political brownie fest within India. No Platform can be an absolute game changer anymore. Such a shame. I agree with you about this as well They are 'shameless'.
Everything is fine in your reading. But how you will justify. IAF will not speak on platform loss at this time . Cleared in open house. CDS interview infront of a foreign press 1. Platform loss 2. Tactical course correction. What's the need ?
