Isn’t it the SMART system for Torpedo delivery?

So it’s the same vehicle carrying two different payloads types for two different missions.Post #82 on this thread.
It happened, finally....
Please zoom in the image next time and see the missiles name.Isn’t it the SMART system for Torpedo delivery?
Not exactly same, but similar enough to be produced in the same production line.So it’s the same vehicle carrying two different payloads types for two different missions.
Exactly Pralay's 2nd stage is smaller. There is a ~200 km range difference between the SMART & the Pralay SSM.PS: Noticed that SMART is longer than Pralay.
I got confused as Indian news channels have a habit of posting misleading pictures. Please zoom in the image next time and see the missiles name.
BTW are Shaurya and Prahaar too are similar systems to Pralay ?Not exactly same, but similar enough to be produced in the same production line.

Different class, prahaar is a modified aad missile i guess, with 200 km range. Shourya is in line with agni1 type missile. Pralay is 500km ranged missile, i think we tried to develop something similar to iskander, but bit heavy.I got confused as Indian news channels have a habit of posting misleading pictures.
BTW are Shaurya and Prahaar too are similar systems to Pralay ?
And why so many different types are being tested.
The Shaurya, SMART, Pralay are members of the same family. The Prahaar, Pranash & Pragati missiles are derivatives of the AAD.BTW are Shaurya and Prahaar too are similar systems to Pralay ?

It’s the second test, it was first tested around 2018. Don’t think it made much news that time.Video :
I wonder why the missile has PR-02 written on it. This is the 1st flight test. Maybe PR-01 has been used for ground firing tests.
Also DRDO has upgraded their camera ?
The article says the test is supposed to happen & the range is 350 km. This was before the Army demanded the Pralay to be 500 km ranged. The 350km version was a derivative of the AAD. With the increasing in range DRDO shifted to a Shaurya based derivative. All the press releases are saying its a maiden test. It’s the second test, it was first tested around 2018. Don’t think it made much news that time.
India’s Secret Super Weapon: DRDO To Conduct First Test Launch Of Short Range Ballistic Missile Pralay
India is all set to conduct the maiden launch of Pralay, a tactical Short Range Ballistic Missile (SRBM) developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) under a classified project, Livefist has reportedswarajyamag.com
DRDO conducts maiden launch of indigenously developed new generation surface-to-surface missile ‘Pralay’

Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted maiden flight test of indigenously developed surface-to-surface missile ‘Pralay’, from Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha on December 22, 2021. The mission has met all its objectives. The new missile followed the desired quasi ballistic trajectory and reached the designated target with high degree accuracy, validating the control, guidance and mission algorithms. All the sub-systems performed satisfactorily. All the sensors deployed near the impact point across the eastern coast, including the down range ships, tracked the missile trajectory and captured all the events.
The Missile is powered with solid propellant rocket motor and many new technologies. The missile has a range of 150-500 kilometre and can be launched from a mobile launcher. The missile guidance system includes state-of-the-art navigation system and integrated avionics.
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO and associated teams for this maiden development flight trial. He complimented DRDO for the fast track development and successful launch of modern surface-to-surface missile.
Secretary Department of Defence R&D and Chairman DRDO, Dr G Satheesh Reddy appreciated the team and said that this is a new generation surface-to-surface missile equipped with modern technologies and induction of this weapon system will give the necessary impetus to the Armed Forces.
All members of the Shaurya family are quasi-BMs, essentially BMs that can fly in a trajectory similar to CMs.See the word quasi
