Qatar Emiri Air Force Rafale squadron pilots, officers, NCOs and mechanics receive training in France in 3 places: Rochefort military base, Airbase 118 Mont-de-Marsan and Joint Intelligence Training Institute in Strasbourg

In the 19th issue of Fox Three, we are proud to present the latest progress made in the trials of the F3R Standard which will enter operational service with the French Air Force and French Navy in early 2019: the last of five test Meteor ramjet-propelled missiles was fired in April 2017, scoring a direct hit, and the TALIOS targeting pod is now being tested on the Rafale. We are also extremely pleased to announce the launch of the new Standard F4 which will significantly increase the omnirole fighter’s already impressive lethality on the battlefield. Standard F4 Rafales will be fitted with an improved radar, a new datalink, improved electronic warfare / electronic attack systems, new air-to-air missiles, new air-to-surface guided weapons... In the Middle East, combat operations against the Daesh terror group have intensified and the Rafale fighter remains at the forefront of the French effort in the region. Both Air Force and Navy Rafales are actively supporting from the air troops engaged against the terrorists, using an extremely wide array of sensors and precisions weapons to defeat the enemy. Kaveri integration needs to be seen..even if a test prototype is available, it would be good..

If Snecma Safran get airworthy certification done then it will be even better..

I believe a Safaranised Kaveri powered LCAMk1A should be available post 2022 with almost all certifications for sure.

Regarding future Tejas iterations, once Safranised Kaveri is available, I doubt we will look at Ge 414 for future versions.. it will be using better versions of Kaveri Family of engines only..

One can expect to see KAveri fly on Tejas pretty soon, but as said above, only a partially modernized one. (not the definitive one specswise)

Is it possible to give a overview of what parts are getting morderinzed

And how much helpful for Kaveri program?

Like ... Will it be sufficient enough for Mk1A aircrafts?

I do not know. There is still work to do, mainly afaik for operational costs, reliability, maintanability... Hot Parts.

How did Gen Andre Lanata become Gal Lanata?
Different abbreviations with the same meaning. GENeral or GenerAL, same thing. In French the abbreviation is usually written as Gᵃˡ with the al in superscript to make it clearer it's the ending of the word, but the WYSIWYG interface on this forum doesn't provide superscript and subscript buttons.

There are two solutions :
1) a work from SAFRAN on indian technology Kaveri so as to keep it airworthy.
2) The integration of the M88 hot core (in a 1/1 scale or another) inside the Kaveri cold part.

Maybe the two.

Many thanks. One lives and learns. Interesting and relevant. My apologies to @Hallowene ; it seems he was being quite GALlic. However, without the superscript option, writing for an English-language forum, it might have been more discreet, though less valiant, to have used the conventional English versions.
