Photos of 2 Nilgiri class frigates from GRSE Shipyard, dated February 2023:

INS Himgiri at the GRSE outfitting yard:

Radar masts, smoke stacks has been integrated. You can see the RBU-6000s on the fore deck. Work on the Barak 8 & Brahmos VLS on the fore deck are nearing completion. No MF-STAR yet, that's a bummer.

Another Nilgiri class frigate under-construction at Yard no. 3024. This is the last vessel of the class being made at GRSE. This ship hasn't been officially named yet. It will probably be called INS Vindyagiri or INS Mahendragiri when launched.

Couldn't find any recent photos of INS Dunagiri. That ship is probably undergoing engine & propulsion systems integration now.

How we are guiding SRGM on P-17 class frigates?

We use Garpun/Lynx FCR for SRGM on almost all class of ships except P-15A/B. But P-17 has replaced it's Garpun with Scantar SSR. Is it using th Scantar for guiding the SRGM?

Yeah, Brahmos in UVLM. Once all the missiles like AD-2, LRLACM come online we will see the UVLS which will go on-board all these ships.

IMO, P-17A aquisition:

2024 - 1 MDL
2025 - 1 MDL + 2 GRSE*
2026 - 1 MDL + 1 GRSE
2027 -1 MDL

*Chances of GRSE delivering 2 P-17A in 2025 are very slim, keep in mind that both shipyards are yet to launch their last Frigates.
