Twin-Engine Deck Based Fighter (TEDBF)

Where is canrads?
According to what I interpret, the picture shows the Single Engine Naval LCA model which was under testing before it was dropped in favour of TEDBF.

I think he's trying to say that features like stabilator at aft end might be carried into the design of TEDBF as it provides better lift control.

With that wing wether we will get any meaning full lift for a AC operations? & slow speed approach?

Makes sense to abandon MRCBF in favour of TEDBF. Neither SH nor Rafale-M can realistically operate from both carriers with full capabilities. Both aircraft need their wings redesigned and that's going to bring up more problems.

Aspwer @vstol Jockey F18 with EPE engine can takeoff from our ACs. I will give weightage to him than HVT.

It's not about taking off. It's about fitting the jets on the elevators. Neither SH nor Rafale can be operated from Vikramaditya. And only SH can be operated from Vikrant, with some difficulty. Even with folded wings, the SH can't operate from Vikramaditya. Either the the elevators have to be enlarged or the wings have to be folded, even more so for the SH. Both will come with significant problems. This is a very elementary problem.

Which is why the best decision is to go for the TEDBF only since it's been designed from the outset to fit on both carriers. Plus it will be CATOBAR capable.

with wings folded the span of SH F18 is 9.3m and it can operate from both the carriers as the front lift of Vicky has 19.6m length and 9.96m width. IAC-1 has 10m wide and 14m long lifts. F18 with rear part overhanging from the lift can easily use both the lifts of IAC-1.

So if the front lift on Vicky malfunctions, it's gonna be a problem. As for IAC-1, if SH can operate in that manner, then so can Rafale-M.
