Ukrainian missiles were shot down near Sevastopol on October 18. The Ukrainian army tried to strike with anti-aircraft missiles of the Soviet S-200 air defense system, converted into a strike version. The missiles were reportedly shot down by a Russian S-400 air defense system in the Kara-Koba area. Both Ukrainian missiles fell in a deserted area.
There's no S-400 in Berdyansk. There are other defenses though. May have been jammed or the attack was big enough to saturate them.
They are not selling stolen grain, the Russians are bigger growers and exporters of wheat than Ukraine, in fact the largest exporter. And there's nothing abnormal about this deal. It's just a $24B deal, they are solidifying their supply, that's all. 24B over 12 years is 2B a year. That's 70% of their total wheat imports.
Rains wiped out some wheat in China, and their main supplier, Australia, is expecting a 30% drop in production 'cause a drought is expected. Hence the diversification, with guaranteed supplies from Russia.

You are reading too much into wheat supplies and Ukraine. It's not a zero sum game. Our relations with Russia will not impact our relations with the US.
What we have successfully done post the war is de-hyphenated ourselves with everyone. Any relationship we form will have to be based on the merits of the relationship. We no longer have to be friends or enemies with one to placate another. We are now in the process of establishing ourselves as a power center.
As for Russia-China, they are close today, but it's not guaranteed tomorrow. And this is a problem for the West to deal with, not India. And it also doesn't affect our relations with the US because they need us to maintain control over the Indo-Pacific, where Russia has significantly lesser interest.
