Ukraine is playing Tower Defense. Shoot at invading Russian hordes until they stop coming. Then they can advance, entrench, and repeat the process. It's slow but it's the only sound strategy given how Russia still has overall firepower advantage and numerical advantage, and given how deep the minefields are.
