Ukraine - Russia Conflict

Then give Ukraine these weapons.
And don't give this excuse of escalation BS.
Putin will not use Nukes.
No one will allow Putin to use Nukes, given that Ukraine will only target Military related Infrastructure.
By hesitating in giving weapons to Ukraine, West is being seen as indecisive.
I personally would. Now that the Russian economic collapse has begun, this sort or extra damage could force them to withdraw.

:ROFLMAO:

Airborne Early Warning was not early enough it seems.

Taking out A-50 is huge news IF it's true, and it's a big IF.
Liveuamap has it. They're 100% sure on the A-50 and 98% on the IL-22 Command Post. It's getting rather expensive for Russia. This is all I could find on cost:

The PHALCON radar is going to cost about $1 billion with another $1 billion going towards the purchase of the platform, in this case, Russian A-50 aircraft.

Whether that was for two jets or 1 is unclear. But either way, Russia just lost billions.

@RASALGHUL - Seems to have been shot down here, ~145km from front line. Ukrainian air force is claiming the kill, which is interesting in itself, there's only really Meteor that can reliably make that kind of range without going into defended airspace:

For other countries price is around 1 billion usd, for their own forces it is around 250M USD. It's still substantial though.

Seems the US has BS/severely short changed the PAC-2 GM-T's range if that is what was used to shoot down the A-50

This is 160km and where the supposed aircraft were flying

This is 200km

Not surprising either the Aim-120D "official" range is 160km but it broke the Pheonix missile long range shot of 126-130 miles. So there you go.

They could have armed Ukraine after 2014 and avoided this war entirely.

All they needed was $10-15B in aid to the army for heavy vehicles and some 100 old F-16s. But that wouldn't have worked in American interests.
