Ukraine - Russia Conflict

$330m.

Except the Ukrainian Air Force has claimed credit. I would have thought the army operated SAMs.
Russians destroyed their ad capabilities early in the war but they still have s-300's although outdated. Their western systems have low range and good against drones.

But would the AF be operating a SAM?

Imagine something as simple as taking away the Baltics. Then how much is France willing to risk to take back the Baltics? 80% of the French population?
They would lose. If Russia puts one foot in NATO territory, Russia will get missiles into troll farms, cyberwarfare offices and decision making HQs in Moscow. Putin will develop a vitamin D deficiency due to never being able to leave his bunker. We will kill his entire inner circle and him.
Apart from Russia's modernization being underestimated, they have a lot of different options globally, not just in Europe.
Hasn't done them much good in Ukraine. They're already using them, what do you think the Gaza War and Houthis attacks are, plus all the recent coups in Africa?

When you have shit to sell but there is no demand for shit.:ROFLMAO:

They won't lose. They can finish the fight before it even begins. All they have to do is physically take control of the Baltics in a very short time and then throw the ball in NATO's court. All this while the US maybe occupied elsewhere, like Taiwan and Iran, maybe both.

Even if it doesn't happen, NATO will have to prepare for a potential land invasion anyway, and that's taking resources away from development, plus using more expensive energy.

The coups in Africa happened due to a power vacuum left behind by the West, it was inevitable. The rest have nothing to do with Russia but benefitting them nonetheless, and that's my point. It's very easy to distract the West, especially the US, elsewhere.

No, it will benefit them. The Russians are taking this war slowly, but this level of escalation will put Ukraine on the backfoot. They cannot mobilize as fast.
Trying to fly any aircraft over the frontline has only 1 outcome, especially a large one. They just shot down an A-50AEW&C over the sea of Azov FFS. Now imagine that packed with troops ~160km closer to the Ukrainians... and they've told people about it beforehand? It would be the perfect revenge for MH17.

It won't be very quick, NATO has hundred of thousands of troops in border areas ready to deploy. Any large movement of Russian troops would be detected and if we have intelligence of their plans in advance - as with Ukraine - we won't even wait for them to attack. And they will lose Kaliningrad as well as not getting the Baltics, and their Northern Fleet will disappear overnight.

We're not buying energy from them anyway. And can Russia afford another major war simultaneously?

There's other evidence too, people without heating in Moscow, pipes bursting due to lack of contracted maintenance, chickens disappearing off supermarket shelves, 90 rubles to the $ despite 16% interest rate etc...

They happened due to Wagner, and yes Russia was involved, and with Gaza too. Like a rat facing extermination, Putin has began running up the walls spraying shit everywhere.

Air assault will come via helicopters. In any case, the Russians didn't announce this, it's only a British assumption.

That's honestly even more stupid, the place is jam packed with MANPADS, ATGMs, Taildogs and IRIS-Ts ready to pick off any pillock trying to land. Remember that Mi-8 on Snake Island, imagine that 1000x over. I hope you never go into strategy for India, or maybe I don't.:ROFLMAO: An amphibious landing in Kherson would be completely retarded, but even that would be less dangerous than this. We don't have air superiority but we'll try an air assault that I've now warned the enemy about anyway. We might see 5-digit casualties in a single day for the first time. Hell there'll even be drones killing helicopters, you wann land/hover a helicopter in this environment?
