Ukraine - Russia Conflict

The Ukrainian army began to use ground-based kamikaze drones. Everyone in Ukraine is already accustomed to the use of flying kamikaze drones, but ground-based kamikaze drones are gradually beginning to be used, and their role should not be underestimated. The Ukrainian army published a video of the use of a ground-based kamikaze drone equipped with TM-62 anti-tank mines, the type of drone used is unknown, it is probably homemade. As you can see from the video, such drones could become a new threat at the front. For now they are rarely used.

Correct move by India.

It's a mix of a problem for some and negotiation tactic for others.

The Russians are working on circumventing secondary sanctions for India. And India is using this excuse to get larger discounts. From $20-30, it fell to $4-8 and now it's $2-4.

This may also give us the opportunity to use more rupees. They seem to have solved the issue, with the Russians being able to use their rupee reserves to buy goods and invest the rest in bonds and such.

Um, okay. Another dumb opinion piece.

Anyway--
Russian news agency Izvestia reported that Russia recently conducted new flight tests of the S-500 missile defence system, testing its ability to shoot down hypersonic missiles, citing sources in the Russian defence ministry.

According to Izvestia, the S-500 system proved its effectiveness by accurately tracking and neutralising targets similar to the Russian hypersonic glide vehicle ‘Avangard’.

Calls something a dumb opinion piece and then cites an article with its facts wrong. The test was allegedly against an R-29RMU2 launched from the Laptev Sea, i.e. a standard ballistic target. There is again absolutely zero evidence of the actual intercept, just a story, which is less than convincing.

There is no reference to the problem being solved, Russia does not want more Rupees, it can't even off-load what it has already. My bet is GOI has finally woken up and smelt the coffee.

Incorrect. The expectation is it will be stable at 1.5m bpd rather than see a growth to 2m bpd.

China's buying more volumes. Particularly the Sokol blend.

“The world is grateful to India for buying Russian oil. It’s not that they don’t want us to buy Russian oil,” India’s Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri told CNBC’s Sri Jegarajah on the sidelines of the India Energy Week conference in Goa.

“If we start buying more of the Middle Eastern oil, the oil price will not be at $75 or $76. It will be $150,” he added.

It had already been over 2m, it's dropped.
