Ukraine - Russia Conflict

In addition to the fact that drone wars actually began in Ukraine, cases of soldiers being taken prisoner when threatened with a drone attack began to be noted. Footage of the surrender of several soldiers of the Ukrainian reconnaissance sabotage group in the Zaporozhye direction has been published. It is worth noting that, apart from cartridges with a mesh for shotguns, nothing has been invented to destroy drones at close range.

Based on claims that local lumberjacks had reported smelling gas in the area for a month before the incident, it seems like the Saratov fire is entirely accidental, caused by typical russian negligence. That makes it even better than an Ukrainian sabotage action.

Also a nice picture of a russian highway.

The problem for russia is that it's a huge country, so it needs really robust transport infrastructure, but it's too corrupt to really develop it -- it's so much better to build yourself a new palace with the state's fund than it is to actually get something useful built! The only halfway workable solution they have is their railroads, and even those have their problems:
So in March 2024, the russian railways estimated that they would have around 20 locomotives out of service every day. Then in April that estimate was multiplied tenfold to 200 locomotives out of service. This availability issue is caused by aging materiel (most of the fleet is 20+ years old), lack of spare parts (either due to sanctions or simply because the parts are no longer produced), and labor shortage. I wonder if the estimate has increased again since April...

Lots of very small dominos falling... It'll take a while still, because russia being a huge country also means it's got a lot of inertia, but things are going to suck so much for the russians... all because they are just so much in love with being a repressive and corrupt autocracy that they'd rather attack their neighbors instead of trying to improve themselves.

Everything is being cut to pay for the war, it will get worse and worse, and there are huge blanks in the financial records, which are explained away by 'national security' reasons, yeah right.

The endless soviet stocks of russia are so endless that they now use walking tractors as military transports.

Now you may be wondering, won't russian farmers need those things? The answer is no, because they'll be too busy being bankrupt to need to actually do farm work! That's the beauty of the russian war economy!
Holodomor 2 on the way, but this time in Russia, caused by Putin and not Stalin.

So many questions need to be axed and Mordor fanboys need to answer.....

These were GBU strikes meaning outdated Soviet era Ukraine mig29s or flankers managed to strike targets 2-4 kilometers from the Russian border and here are the questions... Where is the mighty Russian VKS fighters? I get the s400 battery deployed in Belgorod was taken out, but they still have a huge air force with fighters armed with mighty r37m hypersonic air to air missile. It's almost as if Russian CAP doesn't exist... and it pretty much doesn't when you have drones penetrating hundreds of miles deep inside Russia.

Once US/Ukraine takes out all s300/400 batteries in Crimea, likely 1-2 batteries is all that's left, Ukraine F-16's will be able to JDAM strike Crimea almost at will.
