Ukraine - Russia Conflict

Iraq was bad intel,
Ha Ha Ha... Happens repeatedly. WHY?? Anyone challenging Dollar will face the same thing with same excuse..
That 'worthless toilet paper' happens to be stronger than their own currency.
Then why did US moved from Gold Backed Dollar which was 35dollars to an ounce of gold to a toilet paper which it is now and backed by resources of OPEC countries who are pushed to wall for selling crude oil in dollars only or we have are nuclear power henchman Israel which will whoop your A$$.

Force developing countries to devalue their currencies and absorb US inflation making developing countries poorer. Making imports for US cheaper buying out human and natural resources for peanuts and imports for developing countries expensive due to lower purchasing power of developing nation currencies.

Tell me why Indian software engineer get 500to1000 dollars for the same job for which US engineer gets 15000to30000 dollars... WHY.

US imports everything from across the world (especially China, ASEAN and India) by just giving a piece of paper with a dollar foto printed on it. In fact for a iPhone manufactured in China, China earns just around 10 dollars for all the pain and labour while Apple makes around 1000dollars...

Tell US and other Western countries to move to Gold backed dollars then see what happens. Countries like China and India will dominate the world because of huge human resources and China will become bigger economy than US is right now and people in US and western countries will become poorer by the day... 😊

I don't believe that they should already have a sizable number trained, prepped and ready for contingencies by now.

They apparently had 2 reserve recruitment drives in Aug 2021 and Jan 2022. Their goal was 100000. Even if they didn't meet it, they should have achieved enough to replish the current level of losses. At least we can speculate that Russia had prepared attrition replacements from a long time ago.

Which means we can also say that they have prepared for an increase in production and upgrades of heavy weapons and missiles from beforehand.

It doesn't look entirely haphazard and unplanned.

They made Ukraine choose sides when they forced them to join the Eurasian Economic Union, that's what led to the mass protests. Comedian beats taxi driver.

No interfax has pictures too, some jets are over enemy territory when hit, some make it back there.

It's a proven fact, there were Russian soldiers in the Donbass illegally before 2022.

The US didn't fund the Taliban or Al-Quaeda and co. in Iraq, that was Iran, and probably Russia and China too.

If there was no coup, then elections would have solved the problem.

Lol, provide proof.

We know that already.

Yeah, you didn't fund some, but you funded others. Even abetment to suicide and hiring a contract killer are felonies. It's not just about who pressed the trigger, it's about what led to the action.

In Dnipro, the SBU blocked the operation of a sanctioned plant that was going to resume supplies to the Russian military-industrial complex. In particular, the company manufactured components for aircraft, missile systems and submarines.

If there was no annexation post coup, then elections would have solved the problem. Ukraine would have had to hold OCSE-monitored elections before even being considered for EU membership.

That's what I've been doing. Check back in the thread. Nearer the beginning of the war their were up to 4 jets downed per day, with videos. Russia will never admit it, unlike with the Moskva, they don't have to for jets.

So you think that is okay?

Syria was a mess, too many mercenary idiots their moved between the FSA and ISIS/Al-Nusra. But the real problem, as always, is the dictator (Assad).

There is a problem of timing and skills:

“The worst option for the creation of BARS is the possibility that the mobile reserves are hastily created, assuming to start large-scale hostilities in one and a half to two years. With all the consequences for the Russians,” Goltz wrote.
[...]

But from personal experience – the author of this note had to participate in such meetings during the Soviet era. If the BARS meeting is organized similarly, the BARS reservists will remain completely unprepared for battle and incompetent. And the customs in the army do not change much.

Yeah, Saddam just happened to have a track record of invading neighbours and gassing people, we did the same think with Hitler don't you know.

You try moving that amount of gold around the world for every transaction and see how it goes. The US has the most gold reserves anyway. What else would they sell oil in? Bit coin? Then find it's not really there.

If they save their own money to buy oil, by the time it comes to buying it will have lost most of its value relative to the dollar anyway. It's the US economy that makes the $ strong, that can be seen even in PPP terms, so it's nothing to do with the relative values of currency, and all to do with the likes of Intel, Microsoft, Google, Apple, Tesla etc. Russia is selling oil in rubles and has 23% inflation even with 14% interest, US inflation is at 8.5%, even at 0.5% interest.

Even in PPP terms the value is lower, so you answer me that. All depends which company it's for and the value of the work on the market. Software engineering positions vary in value even in the US and UK.

US has a lot of oil itself, it's a net energy exporter. That's called globalisation, and many would agree that it sucks. Especially people in the US who could be doing that same job, but people want cheaper iPhones and shareholders want more profit, so you get globalisation. China could set a higher minimum wage if it wanted.

The global economy will grind to a halt is what will happen, and nations will lose the ability to deal with recessions and market shocks. The iPhones and the chips in the iPhones, and computers are still designed in the US. Labour is worth relatively little in a world with 8bn people and usually goes to the lowest bidder, despite the many adverse consequences involved. If China became richer, labour costs would go up and the costs of transportation would likely mean that cheaper labour is sought elsewhere. That's why it's easy for poorer countries to grow, but as they become richer they need to provide intelligence, rather than just labour.

Elections witrhout Russian side...

That's not proof.

Yes. They came in to prevent genocide.

Syria was deliberately created by the West.

Reserves are created from a pool of veterans. Skills is a problem associated with conscripts, so it doesn't make sense to apply it to contract soldiers. And these new reserves from 2021 and 2022 are probably second or even third line reserves.

Aren't helicopters supposed to hover just above the treeline and take out tanks and stuff from 10km away using optics and radar? Why do I just see Russian helicopters firing unguided rockets up in the air?

Reservists are usually less experienced soldiers, even training-wise.
