Ukraine - Russia Conflict

Training soldiers and installing offensive nuke missiles is apples to oranges. If Ukraine was allowing a foreign nation to use their territory to host offensive strategic missiles 90 miles from Russian border I think the world would understand why Russia attacked Ukraine.
You mean just as the US was busy mooning over who JFK was bedding & about to bed, too busy to notice what was happening in Cuba , all this after they launched the Bay of Pigs invasion spooking Castro sending him to the SU's open arms, only getting up after those missiles landed in Cuba , the Russians too should be fast asleep at the wheel & wait for the US to base it's missiles in Ukraine before throwing a tantrum.

I love trailer park level analysis. It's so easy & uncomplicated. No nuances, no shades of grey just black & white stuff like Paddy & his boozy pals at O'Shea & the intrepid lads of the Irish Intelligence Review.

In March I gave this information:

Arrested/MIA list:
  1. Army General Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoigu, Defense Minister (missing since Mar 11)
  2. Army General Valery Vasilyevich Gerasimov, Chief of General Staff and First Deputy Defense Minister (missing since Mar 11)
  3. Colonel General Sergey Orestovich Beseda, Director, 5th Department, Office of Operational Information and International Relations, FSB (arrested Mar 11)
  4. Lieutenant General Roman Gavrilov, Deputy Director, Rosgvardia (arrested Mar 17)
  5. Lieutenant General Vladislav Nikolayevich Yershov, Commander, 6th Combined Arms Army (arrested Mar 22)
  6. Anatoly Bolyukh (Lt. Gen equivalent), Deputy Director, 5th Department, Office of Operational Information and International Relations, FSB (arrested Mar 11)
Shoigu had been missing since 11 March and as there had been a lot of arrests the fact was reported because it might mean that he too had been arrested. The times were a bit turbulent and one had to analyse the situation with incomplete information. But the difference was well made between the Arrests and those which were only possible and which were marked "missing".
Quite frankly, the level of propaganda disseminated by the West has been a huge eye opener for the rest of the world. I don't think sitting in the West as you guys are, have any conception about the amount of disquiet you've caused in the non western world & the impact it'd have on all aspects of commerce & life in general between the non western nations & the West, going into the future .

The Anglo sphere has been long known for it's witch hunting tactics though their propaganda blitz & the vehemence came as a huge surprise too ( our foreign minister S Jaishankar noted as much , much before the war began & repeated the same after the war commenced ) but it's the non Anglo phone world which we expected to be much more balanced in it's assessment & reportage.

I mean there used to be a time we thought that people like Paddy & Sweetie were atypical representatives of their populace out here. That the average Brit or American was much more sharp, nuanced, analytical & critical in his / her thought process. Alas! Turns out they're very much an accurate barometer of their respective societies.

Progress and Results of Russia's Special Military Operation in Ukraine

Following the recognition of the independence of the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics on February 24, Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine to "demilitarize and denazify" Ukraine, and to completely liberate Donbass. Sputnik summarizes the course of the operation and its results.

I will summarise it more concisely:

ABJECT FAILURE.

The United States wants a space shield project in Europe, the Missile Defense, a national project later extended to its allies. When fully implemented, it will consist of warning satellites, a chain of ground-based radars (missile warning and tracking) and interceptors deployed on the ground, at sea and in space, to attack enemy missiles in the various phases of their trajectory. The interceptors would be deployed in Central Europe: Poland, the Czech Republic and if Ukraine joins Nato they will also be a prime location for these missiles.
The problem is that the interceptors can also be loaded with nuclear warheads and used to attack Russia, which explains my comparison with Cuba.
Interceptors are ill-suited to ground attack, and adding a nuclear warhead would not be that easy. And the fact is, Poland and the Baltics are far better suited to interceptor deployment and aren't much worse for hypothetical SRBMs/MRBMs either. If you go on Google Earth and measure the distances to the US from various Russian sites, none of them pass via Ukraine. Heck, Finland and Sweden are even better placed than Poland, what a mistake-a-to-make-a on the behalf of Putin.

Heck PrSM is currently touted as having a range of 650km, and this will later be increased to 1000km. That could reach Moscow from Latvia, Ukraine-basing provides no significant additional advantages.

is it a harbinger ? As the SU rises from its ashes the architect of its demise dies, seems like history is being replayed backwards.

Leave europe asap and seek asylum else where, a place where soviets would not dare to touch. May I suggest afghanistan? 🤣
Still believe in Russia stronk.
