Because it's a question of right and wrong, and it's in Europe's best interests to draw a line under Russian annexations once and for all anyway. Seriously, it had got to the point where the fvcking dickheads actually thought it was okay to steal an entire country. The hypocrite is India - spends 75 years bitching about colonialism, turns a blind eye when Russia continues doing it in the 21st century.

Russian gas has already been replaced, it will be them who is without the revenue. You expect us to do as they say for the sake of a slightly better economy? Fvck that!

For all purpose historically & racially, US is just sum of all things in europe. They still see themselves as one unit divided by an ocean. This is just ummah concept by blood & race but implemented effectively unlike the religious ones which splinters easily.

Right and wrong are like number 6. From my side it's 6 and the same may seem 9 to you. You want to stop annexations by Russians but what about NATO annexations of Poland, East Germany, Romania, etc. and now attempt to annexe Ukraine...😊

Russian gas replaced. Ok. But at what cost? Tell me why electricity costs have MULTIPLIED (as it's definitely not a small increment to compensate inflation). Why aluminium, steel industries across Europe are closing down due to non availability of electricity at cheaper rates which was earlier the case with cheaper gas as most of the European electricity is produced by gas powered plants. Why electricity bills have shot up across Europe and why monuments across the European countries are Dim Lit and AC running at 24 degrees and shut if not required order from the government.... 🥱🤔😊😊

I forgot this...

Russia is selling the same cheap crude oil and Gas to China and India and that too in yuan rupees and Rouble thus avoiding dollar which is a dangerous precedent to topple USD as world/reserve FOREX currency. So they are not losing revenue....😊

USD is itself an economic colonization of world by US and European countries. So one more colonial shackle is being broken by Russians which will have far serious repurcussion for western countries... 😊

NATO's not a country and doesn't annex anyone.

Countries join NATO out of their own free will. No country has ever joined NATO against the wishes of its government.

On the other hand, Russian annexation is built upon military invasion and mass murder. But yeah, sure, they're mirror images, exactly the same thing.

Price depends on demand, the demand for Russian crude has fallen because the US/EU etc. are not buying it.

Now, you resort to making stuff up completely. People buy oil in dollars, because holding on to dollars in the long term is more profitable than holding on to other currencies. The only reason they're still not buying Russian oil in dollars is because they physically can't.

What's more Paddy, winter is still a couple of months away. However, UK must stay true to it's" principles". The result of things that happened several hundred years ago, and all democracies with civil rights, freedom of expression etc. Places where lots of people want to migrate to. What is any country? We'd all still be living as tribes if such things had never happened. What were the Cholas?

The hypocrisy is yours for not being able to distinguish between things that happened centuries ago and things that are happening today. India had many empires that invaded other territories too. You think Russia never invaded anyone during the same period? Why are there only 34m people in the 30% of Asia occupied by Russia relative to the other 70%, which has 4.7bn?

So in summary, in your opinion, colonisation is only wrong if you stop, or give the territories back, or allow people to vote. If you carry on and lock up or kill dissenters it's okay.

Going strictly by your Paddy logic, in 2-3 centuries from now all those lands invaded by Russia could potentially be as prosperous as the Anglosohere is today. Hence all those crimes which so rile you today can be forgiven by your own logic.
