That's not what I asked you. I said, who spends the highest % of their GDP on defence? Answer: Russia. 4-6%/year over the last decade. That's like the US spending $1-1.5tr/year.
🤣 yeah you cherry pick your own metric which is in no way related to security .
% of gdp is just an metric to see how much they are over spending or underspending economically it has no relation to its security or size.

Real metric should include size of the area to defend & security threat posed , if singapore/vatican has a gdp of trillion dollar and ends up spending 2% it is still overspending based on its size.

Territorial size of the Nato excluding US is 70% of russia's size but spending on defence is 5 times that of russia. Which means mob spends 5 times for each unit of area compared to russia assuming both are of equal size.

@vstol Jockey

Sir, what'a your take on setbacks that Russia is having in Ukraine and their response🙏🙏
Setbacks? Are you kidding me? Is that what you're calling the Russian retreat/defeat in Kharkiv? Ukraine is about to encircle Lyman and the thousands of Russian soldiers are either going to surrender and their equipment, make a run for it and leave equipment or die. When that happens in a few days are you to call that a Russian oopsie?

Tell us how to cram thousands of troops into 21 square miles. why waste so many soliders when you can simply bombard that place with few pieces of artillery?

See the red-ish area that is surrounded by blue representing Ukraine where it says Lyman..? That is much much greater in square miles than that stupid map you posted. That area has thousands of Russian soldiers that retreated from Izyum, knuckle head.

Stop being a dimwit.

% of GDP spent of defence is probably the best measure, since it shows how much a country prioritises defence spending over the economy and society.

Nope, NATO's landmass is ~43% larger than Russia's. And the reason Russia is defending such a large territory is because it's always annexing countries.

I guess we have to allow for corruption though. :ROFLMAO:

Big fire reportedly at Brylivka of Kherson region, possible gas pipeline on fire
