Ukraine - Russia Conflict

Yup! I remember that saudi arabia fiasco. LOL.
The Excuses Given were even more pathetic.
One of the Excuses was that it was looking in other direction.
I am Like WTH.
The difference is Saudi Arabia had not been attacked prior to that point. And yeah, there are reasons it could happen. We don't even know what version it was, whether it was active, or whether it was pointing towards Iran or Yemen.

Once happens, twice is bad, but Russia has been repeatedly attacked by drones many times in the middle of a full-scale war when they should be expecting and prepared for attack, and all system should be active and manned. That's fundamentally different.

Russia is getting its a55 paddled.

The Troitske-Novoaidar rail link is now comfortably in range. With that down 2 of 5 rail links will be out, with only one remaining link going direct to Lugansk oblast (one to Donetsk and one to Crimea). Given how Russia loves its trains, this is crucial.

Guerre en Ukraine en direct :

Retired American general David Petraeus is back in the news. Speaking on ABC's "This Week," the former CIA boss opined that Vladimir Putin is in a bind: "The reality of the battlefield he faces is irreversible. No amount of haphazard mobilization - that's the only way to describe it - no amount of annexation, no amount of nuclear threats, however veiled, can get him out of this situation."

The former general predicted that the U.S., along with NATO allies, would "eliminate [Russian] conventional forces [that they will] be able to see and identify on the battlefield in Ukraine and also in Crimea, as well as any ships in the Black Sea" if Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to use nuclear weapons in his war against neighboring Ukraine.

Petraeus recalled recent remarks by National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan that U.S. officials have warned Moscow of "catastrophic consequences" if the Kremlin deploys nuclear weapons. The radiation from a nuclear attack in Ukraine would likely reach neighboring NATO countries, making it an attack on the alliance.
Even pakistani threat have more weightage that Russian one.

I think Russia is likely to withdraw from the area north of Lugansk and south of Oskii because there is nothing there for them to defend anymore. The rail link is already compromised and Borova is about the largest village/town of note.
Hey, it worked.

I wonder... hmmm... I next think Russia will withdraw from Ukraine and impale Vladimir Putin on a bust of Lenin.

But this is the point, a good AD will cover 360 degree which it doesn't.

I wasn't trying to one-up american weapon systems. I was just pointing out facts.

Ukrainian counter attacks on Kherson have failed

Russia’s Defense Ministry has also confirmed repelling the attack, stating that over 400 Ukrainian servicemen, 43 tanks and 89 units of special military equipment were eliminated in the Nikolayev-Krivoy Rog area. Ukrainian side has been suffering significant casualties in the offensive, having reportedly lost over 500 soldiers (200 dead, 320 injured), as well as ten tanks and 25 infantry fighting vehicles during the attack on Krasny Liman, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

It will if you have the right radar setup. As far as I understand, Saudi Arabia basically just wasn't expecting any air attack at that point, drone attacks are still relatively new, and it was an older PAC-1 system.

There is a mobile version of Aegis Ashore in the works according to various ppts which have popped up on secretprojects.

Newer cruise missile defence radar - 360deg, GaN AESA.

Long-range radar, also GaN AESA, 360deg

Ghosteye - 360deg, GaN AESA, permanent 360deg coverage for cruise missiles and drones.

The Ukrainian offensive failed so hard, the Russian troops had to blow up the bridges at Dudchany...
The bridge won't affect the assault so much, since the stretch of water there is short.

Livemap says otherwise. Unfortunately RT isn't allowed to report the truth, which is why Russia will never understand why it is failing. Lies prevent LFE.

The Pakistanis actually use standoff and precision guided munitions and it's fleetwide. Their artillery is much better and the drones are actually used in UCAV roles. The more I watch this war the more I realise how truly behind the Russians and ukrainians are in warfare.

Imagine where will be our position in an actual war with Pakistan. Almost all our weaponry are of Russian origin, we may get screwed in actual war the way Russians get screwed if didn't move away from Russian junks.
Stop upgrading MKI & go for F15 EX instead & take assurance from US on the delivery of heavy class NGAD once it ready, scrapp mrfa and go for Rafale, stop purchasing more s400 etc
