That's the official line but it's very clear that several in this thread, like jetray, vstol and randomradio have done a lot of moralising on Russia's behalf, and it's the same on Twitter and in Indian media. They sure make a lot of excuses for the inexcusable. But the worst part is the way they try and twist it into some kind of NATO conspiracy. NATO gets nothing from this, whilst the economic impact has been trivial, it has been negative all the same.
