Thing is, most of Asia(except Japan)and Africa don't concur with this American/British viewpoint. Russia still enjoys great relationship with the above.

Russia may be winning the war, but it’s super power status is gone.
India will be an economic super power, sooner or later. However, whether it will be a military super power or not, depends on how fast the domestic MIC and R&D is developed.
Russia-China have become friends to counter the US threat. Russia is China's enemy number 1 based upon historical facts/significance. Both haven't forgotten 1969. China's ultimate plan is to defeat Russia and reclaim Vladivostok. Russia knows this too.
There is old saying in Hindi," Jaroorat ke samay gadhe ko bhi baap banana padta hai"(at the time of need even donkey could be made one's father). This quote defines current Russo-Sino relationship.
This war has started Russia's resurgence in my opinion. Now Putin will invest where he needs to. Expect all key programs like Su-57 etc. to be expedited now.

We're already a military super-power. Under Modi ji our MIC is also growing very fast. Expect to become self-reliant much sooner than expected if Modi continues at the helm(which he will).
Unfortunately Russia is stuck and it will not have options for very very long time. As of today they are dependent on China for all their basic needs as well as to sell their energy.
I would beg to differ regarding India’s status as a military power. We can’t call ourselves as superpower when we are buying our arms from countries like Israel, South Korea and France. We need invest and drive our R n D for next 20 years before we can come anywhere close to be somewhat independent. Current pace of DRDO is not enough.
ModiJi’s drive for self reliance is the right approach. However, in parallel we need to buy/ modernize the weapon systems and that’s not happening. Kadi ninda must be replaced with a more dynamic DM.
