United States Military Aviation

2033? lmao even russia produces more SAMs than the US at this point.

i mean its almost certain they produce more ballistics than the US with how theyve been spamming the iskander M and khinzals but outproducing the worlds largest exporter of sams is just a sad state of affairs for the US
Russia has converted itself into a semi-war economy, US has not.

Conservative Estimates suggesting 25-30%+( some even suggesting close to 40%) of russian gov. Budget being diverted for defense/Military and its war industries fully active.

By comparison US spends 13-15% of its federal budget on defense, and large part does not goes into increasing sustained production of ammo but instead to pay for big ticket items and maintenence.

Raytheon to Radically Boost Production of Air Force’s Main Dogfighting Missile

The deal will see the firm increase the number of AIM-120 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles, or AMRAAMs, it produces to “at least” 1,900 annually.

Nominal* gdp.
You have a very shallow and as a consequence very wrong understanding of economy & industry, especially for economies like that of russia.

If you are trying to understand why a country with a "small" nominal GDP can sustain a massive war or build huge infrastructure, Russia’s PPP is arguably a more "honest" reflection of its industrial and military weight.

russia produces all its SAMS and missiles in house, nominal GDP doesnt reflect the full picture. They are the 4th largest GDP on the planet in PPP terms .
Nominal is still important because russia still imports sensors and a few other things but since like 95%+ of their missile is in house( the other 5% is probably stuff that isnt hard to import or it would have been sanctioned alr) PPP musr be taken into account.

yes but ofc there are still very big limitations but since russia has a very experienced complete military industry complex in the background PPP becomes significantly more important unlike for example india which has a higher GDP PPP but does not have the same level of MIC.
