We are predictably going to throw Iran under the bus.
They know it.
We know it.
The US knows it.
The Pakistanis know it.
Cheers, Doc
It's not like we have power there.

Just saying the obvious.
As an Indian ... under our new realignments.

why iran doesnot bought s400 and su series ,i gues iran wanted to buy s300 but was denied by russia . they could have gone the way of turkey ,opting for frontline russian equipment .i know they are under sanction and economy is in precarious situation ,but if they had tried to find a way around it may be situation would have been different.
but looks like both usa and iran are looking a way for exit, otherwise 22 missile attack and yet no casualty ..
but iranian bluff about their military and r&d prowess has been called out as well as vulnerabilty of patriot of usa
Frankly Chabahar just went down the drain
Even if US does not respond militarily
It will further strangle Iranian economy
And Iran will also allow Cargo meant only
For Afghan population
If Iran ramps up its Nuclear program
US will get its "Casus Belli "
Iran has been wanting to buy Flankers and S-400 since many years now, but the Russians have denied supplies citing sanctions and the nuclear deal. The Iranians are interested in other equipment as well, like the Kilo class sub, T-90 etc. Deals were supposed to be signed after October 2020, when sanctions will be lifted.
Dunno what's the situation now, since Iran says they won't stick to the nuclear deal anymore. But they definitely need a lot of equipment, especially enough to arm two full corps at the bare minimum.
Iran's R&D has been very good in certain areas. But it's too bad their opponent is the US.
Knowing a bit about their psyche, they will see us as Hendi backstabbers now ...

A source inside IRGC tells me that since yesterday evening, 56 of IRGC commanders have been arrested by the IRGC’s intelligence organisation. According to the source, knows as Haj Vahid, one of Soleimani’s most trusted in Iraq is missing since the strike on Soleimani. ( )
Interesting thread. Apparently, the Iranians suspect an insider shared information about Soleimani's whereabouts thus living up to the ancient Persian tradition of selling each other to the enemy , getting conquered and then adopting the enemy's religion before proceeding to finish off their former co religionists.
All Indics are Hendi.
They see no difference between us and Pakistanis.

You know I have a very poor opinion about Iranians
I have never understood their OBSESSION.
WITH USA AND ISRAEL
Some of my Iranian friends actually want US to invade Iran so that they can get rid of the current regime. It's quite surprising, but almost all Iranians I know actually believe Shah's rule was much better.Raman Ghavami (@Raman_Ghavami) Tweeted:

And Iran has most probably by mistake shot down the Ukrainian plane.Iran due to 2 things
1. Political , cultural and economic ties with Shia across the region.
2. Extensive and large network of Pro Revolutionary Guards militants across the region
Will continue to increase sub conventional attacks on USA and Saudis, no matter what.
Iraq will most likely fully go into the grip of Iran, which will allow Iran easier land connectivity to its militias in Syria and Lebanon.
This also means tough days for Israel.
