One can imagine what's happening in the Third World.

Germany may hold its nose about this or that but the fact remains that large German firms are rather beholden to China even now.

They'd have annexed the whole world. If only Russia could make all the decisions.
And who owns the trade fleets? EU and China. Who owns the blue navies with global reach? US and EU. Russia is not a thalassocracy.Trade happens via sea.
Do they have time, though? The Russian economy will pivot to where the money is. Today, there's only the US+allies and China. Tomorrow, there will be other countries, like India, ASEAN and the African Union. It's only a matter of time.
Their gas trade is bigger than all their non-fuel exports combined. They have not been boxed in by the West either, they have a lot of options. Only their gas trade will see disruption. Their oil trade will continue.
First three categories are all basically 100% Western, and now they're gonna have to switch to 100% Chinese.Russian imports in 2021:

Ukraine are definitely all in. The US was going to offer a deal where Putin kept Crimea (only) but it was demilitarised and Zelensky rejected that even. They want ever last piece of their country back.At 1:33 Boris says " Zelensky isn't in position................His people wouldn't let him".
Folks, What do you think of this? Why ukrainians wouldn't let zelensky negotiate a peace deal?
To me it means "Ukrainians are all in". No half-way measures.
I also think that they have taken massive casualties.

Strikes against electrical power is one thing, and whilst not technically banned due to dual use, it's frowned upon. Gas infrastructure, not sure, however, attacks against water supplies are always illegal under the Geneva convention, and Russia has done that.Reminder: strikes against civilian infrastructures are war crimes
