Downtown Srinagar have strict curfew with multiple checking. You need an airport ticket or,police pass for most of the day. It is relaxed a bit in the evening from what I can gather
However,in uptown Srinagar, restrictions are low
In most of south Kashmir, no violence, few instincts of stone pelting by small groups,peaceful across Kashmir with few small exception.
--source "Kashmir students Telegram channel" many of them managed to get calls from family through Police station telephone. Few others got call due to Jio glitch , peoples with postpaid connection from another states can sometimes make calls out of Kashmir
read up.. it is quashed with the following observation "A bench headed by Justice N.V. Ramana, declining the request to hear the matter urgently, said: "The matter would be placed before the appropriate bench, that is the bench of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, for listing the matter.""
Which means that the request is not rejected as is.. and will be looked into, by a bench of CJ?

They will wait to see how the situation in Kashmir unfolds, once the curfew is lifted. Apart from that, infiltration attempts & keeping the LoC hot is par for the course. Once they see insurrection in Kashmir, they'd initiate frenetic international activities .

The Chief of Army Staff Gen Bipin Rawat briefed Raksha Mantri Shri @rajnathsingh today on developments in Jammu &Kashmir and on Indo-Pak border. Overall the situation is under control and the Armed forces are in a state of high alert and closely monitoring the situation.

He said he was NOT looking at military option.
If there is to be a military action by either side, it will have to lead to war. Hit and runs won't serve either sides' intent (unless Pakistani intent is to feed its domestic propaganda machine), and will more than likely warrant a full scale response from the other.
In the state of readiness we are at right now...in the current situation I must say India is far more prepared for a war in Kashmir than Pak is.
