You should better check this. Your western pride doesn't want you to acknowledge how 2 of our Sukhois stopped 8 F16s, dodged multiple AMRAAMs and then got in firing position and made them retreat. Thus Pakistani Swift Retort turned into Swift Retreat, lol.

Had MKIs been armed with Derby ER or Astra 2 that day, entire F16 fleet would have mauled by our Flankers.

You are to some context right. Because govt of India was not in mood to fight , they wanted an excuse to remove A370 and they got it. I am sure Abhinandan was told to not ingress into Pakistani airspace clearly. We would have done more than just removing A370 by showing some launches and not hitting anywhere but Pakistan blackmailed India only because Abhinandan's father was a very senior level officer.

F-16 was shot down in Pakistani airspace a country which has lower press freedom than Indian Kashmir. They have a history of faking a mirage shot down and another f-16 shootdown which was changed to frarticide. The Soviets claimed it was a mig 23 that shot down the f-16. You are defending the same country that actively hid Osama Bin Laden and assisted the Taliban until the very end of embarrassing american ouster.

India was not just making claim in thin air. There are video evidences of 2nd jet going down, there is AWACS & other Radar data (which is never 100% accurate depending on geography and nature), fresh statements from locals right after the downing, statements from (Pakistani establishment where there is possibility of fog of war).

It was Pakistani establishment which wanted to create a fog to give smokescreen. They had Mig and Abhinandan with them down, they didn't need to create the drama unless to bring IAF's claim to down its own 2nd jet downing claim.

How does one degrade the video evidence of 2nd jet downing amid all this drama?


Anyways that's long gone and part of history unless someone somewhere spills the beans on either side of the border.

I only see evidence that a MiG-21 went down.

Radar image is clearly doctored. 316Z - That's the 3rd F-16 right there. In the second image the '3' is blocked out. Track hasn't vanished, it's right there. I think India is the one clutching at straws to save face here TBH having reviewed the evidence.

Mig 21 didn't crash somehow, it was shot down by F16.

Su30MKI and Mirage were engaging PAF jets in different locations as per my understanding of the jets position that day.

Straw clutching still. Hate to say it but PAF has the best evidence here.

Who refutes PAF didn't had the best evidence? A downed jet and a captured pilot is the gold standard of verifying the details.

And see just how raw video recordings are referred to as clutching straws? Anyways as we say, when time comes, lot of things will come out of Pakistan's closet or ours.
