Some 10 -12 IN personnel were killed. The submarine was scrapped. Fishermen didn't discover the submarine.

The point of highlighting all this to the dense such as you is there's something called accountability in a democracy. Enquiries are held, guilt established & punishments handed out.

Unlike police states where nobody knows what happened viz Ever since PLA crossed the LAC in Apr 2020 , the Western Theatre Command ( WTC) has seen 4 Generals in charge of the WTC replaced within some 16 months of whom 2 are dead as of today including if I'm not mistaken including the General under whose watch the Galwan incident occurred & it's not even 2 years since they crossed over .

He is believed to have spent 10 months in high-altitude areas in 2017 and helped in building the Chinese projects to build “well-off villages”.4 He became the fourth commander to lead the WTC, when he replaced Gen Qu Qiling, whose current designation is unknown. Both Qu and his predecessor, Gen Zhang Xudong were suffering from ill-health and therefore needed to be changed frequently. Gen Zhang is said to have died of cancer and there is a speculation that the unforgivable terrain is creating health concerns for many frontline commanders and officers.5
