There's no air borne , sub sea Brahmos deployed yet.
No Advanced version, such as a size weight reduced mini version.
Likewise no export orders.
if you look at the original plans, the plan was to offset the cost by exporting 1000 Brahmos and manufacturing 1000 for Indian militarily.
As of now , not even half of that number had been reached for Indian military and zero export.
And that's after 20 years and 100 test fires.
So yes, 8 standby my statement of Brah thuss.

Why the hurry?
R&D takes time. We finished the development of Brahmos-1 variants by the middle of the previous decade. Then we began the development of advanced versions at the fag end of the previous decade and are now in the construction and even flight testing phase of some of these advanced variants.
You may recall that a lot of things changed after India became part of MTCR in 2016, so some designs went back to the drawing board and some new designs were added in.
Export clearance is a very recent event. So why the hurry?
No. Original plans were 500 for India, 500 for Russia and 1000 for export. India's current orders are more than 500.
Your expectations for Brahmos are based on your own fantasies. No one's gonna meet it.
You do realise that Brahmos always had 600 km range and the limit of 290 km was only in the firmware.

Sure. But that's only Brahmos-1. The more advanced variants would be the 800+Km version (this is the one which failed), then the 1500Km version, the near-hypersonic version and the mini version, and the mini version itself will have more variants, not just the air launched version. Naturally, all these will also have more sophisticated electronics, like an AESA seeker.
Heard about 800km & mini versions. But is it true that we are working with 1500 km version? I didn't heard about it so far.
Also there is no room for 1500 km ranged Nirbhay (if the project become successful ) and a 1500 km ranged ulta expensive Brahmose.

Icg unfortunately has no ships capable of firing missiles. It has only 76mm guns.

You forget that the Nirbhay will be much cheaper than Brahmos. And it has other uses.
That's fine. I guess the greatest interest will be for the Brahmos-M since its bigger cousin is a bit too expensive for most countries outside small numbers. Also the fact that it will be MTCR restricted.

The missile was fired just prior to 10 am and remained airborne for 15 minutes, covering a distance of 100 km. As per DRDO sources, while the indigenous engine tested successfully, the delivery platform encountered a technical hitch.

The last test of the subsonic missile was carried out in October 2020 when the trial had to be aborted after just eight minutes.
ASN4G will have a range of 1000 KM from what I hear and it will have speed of 6-8 mach. Basically a SCRAMJET propelled weapon.
MBDA and France surely has a total mastery of RAMJET propulsion.
