Last time US government were selli Pakistan F-16, Indian jumped in and stopped the deal, telling the manufacturer that India will buy F-16.
They are still waiting.
So Indian bluffs are becoming less and less effictive as western weapons manufacturers won't lose a sale just because India said so.

Even with the Apache and Chinook deal, India has actually paid more dollars to USA than your country did in all its combined purchases in last 10 years with USA.

F-16 is a different manufacturer than Apache and Chinook.
Previously whenever Pakistan would make a weapon deal, India would jump in and tell the manufacturer that if they cancel the deal with Pakistan, India will buy from them.
But over the years manufacturers have lost business and india did not buy as promised
So this Indian bluff won't work any more.
