untill MII?? why do we need such a large number when 1:4 is enough for us, if at all we have plan for AMCA. I think 6 squadrons is enough to protect other 24 squadrons.

Next batch comes cheap if there are no new base requirements. I hope in F4 standards.

We can wait till we have enough in purse.. for MII.

Thats the problem here... You boys come up with rediculous arguments and then call me funny (Which i dont mind ;) )
R-73 are not being ordered due to exceptional performance but due to maintinance requirements. Most have been sitting in the warehouse for too long and have expired and India does not have Overhaul facilities for the missile, or Russia did not give them as Business tactics,as they saw money making oppertunity.
Also what you and most here dont know is that the equation changes drastically when an air to air missile is pulled out of its sealed container in the warehouse and deployed. In a sealed container in warehouse an AIM-120 AMRAAM has expiry date of 10 years. If the fighter jet flies with the AIM-120 then it expires in 1500 hours of flight and needs thorough checks of electronics and replacement of the propellant after 1500 hours of flight to be operational again.
Likewise is the story of R-73. Now that IAF is regularly flying with the Missile under their wings, they are bound to expire as many have been flown in previous years too and then put in the warehouse and no after escalation between India and Pakistan pulled out from warehouse again and flying again. All th ehours spent in the air in previous years have to be counted along with new hours currently being piled up .
Some Russian missiles have only 40 hours of flight when they expire and need overhaul.
I am not sure bout expiry flight hours of R-73..
But there..

you missed the core of the argument so let me clarify for you:
- Several years ago India decided to phase out the R 73 and replace it with missiles like ASRAAMs
- Russians were none to happy with it because Russian weapons were de-selected
- Now they're saying what is the point in moving to European weapons when our missiles have proven they work by killing F 16s

The above has nothing to do with shelf life of the missiles

Pakistan willing for nuclear non-proliferation: Army - Times of India

“Since we have gone overtly nuclear, as India also, in 1998, our stance is that this capability eliminates the possibility of conventional war between the two states. So that is to say, this is a weapon of deterrence and a political choice. No sane country having this capability would talk about using it,” Ghafoor said. “Even though the protection of the country was of the utmost importance, it would be “insane” to discuss the use of nuclear weapons,” the official noted.
🙄 What happened to him?? Do they have nuclear weapons or not... Ya Saudi arabia waale le gye sab

Just wait for it. They will show the proof after things calm down.
Abhinandan could not fire any missile as we found all four with his ship. So that's proof no F-16 were shot.
SU-30 is not being shown as it will cause more humiliation to India, which may escalate the ongoing tension because modi will have to use his armed forces for another adventure to cover up for this and we don't want that.
Wait until May. After elections.

No you found 3 missiles and a 4rth blown out husk of a r-73 with its warhead missing(r-73 warhead lies in midsection).Which is why that picture was subsequently deleted by pak accounts.

Till before the Surgical Strike and the Air Strike happened, almost every actor inside the deep state as well as the puppet politicians in Pakistan threatened India with Nuclear response. Now they admit that they were and are indeed "insane"

Nobody has deleted anything. The second R-73 motor was found still attached to the pylon. There is no way that a missile fired had its motor attached to pylon. H

The motor you are pointing too ,if that is indeed r-73 is the intact r-73 on the left.
Please do explain how why the entire warhead section of the right R-73 is missing? We all know where that went.

Its very easy for PAF to embarass IAF here, just call an international observer and line up f-16s with serial number as it once did with mirages.
First you said no f-16s used, then after AMRAAM proof forced to concede 'all aircraft airborne' lol.
First you said 2 planes shot down,2 pilots in custody. Then lol.2nd pilot disappeared.Poof.Is he still in hospital?
You keep saying only trees destroyed in balakot, except spice wouldnt make craters-rather mounds of dirt and if a 2k pd bomb dropped, the explosion would burn all the nearby vegetation to crisp. Most of all,if nothing happened why have you cordoned off the area for over a month.Easiest way to humiliate india is let international reporters through and let them inspect the building. What have you to hide if no damage was done?
This is the army that doesnt accept its own dead as we saw in kargil. We buried your dead, despite the many soldiers of ours they killed because for us enmity ends in death.10 years after kargil you accepted bodies.
This is the army that doesnt disclose its casualities to its own senate.
And we are still waiting for shahbaz haider to return to pakistan from exercises.Good joke.Airspace is closed, all jets are on emergency duty and pilot is exercising in usa for over a month?Who are you fooling?

Chacha gafoor can keep his propaganda for domestic consumption. No one is fooled here about his antics.

Quite possible. There were always rumours that Bajwa was an Ahmediyya ( his wife is one, I believe) and he was sympathetic to their cause. There must be a lot of officers peeved with his handling of the situation and here you go. They bring up his lineage, accuse him of cowardice, internal politics too and before you realize it, the F-16 we shot down shows up at a crash site with Bajwa in it.

But Bajwa still has two more years to go. But if we do have this kind of rebellion in PA, the nukes will surely fall into wrong hands and can create a catastrophy.
