Sir.

Sorry for not being able to provide the actual figures as somehow, their side manages to lose few to 'falling in ditch', 'slipping down the mountain' etc etc. a ballpark figure of 150 as can be made out from analysis of multiple inputs, comes to fore. Error to be considered as +/- 10%.

Accha saab magar ab aap meherbaani kar ke yeh "Sir" ka chakkar band keejiye. I'm likely much younger than you, and I've never done anything in life to be called "Sir" by a veteran.

Carrier Case. Cant comment if has shell inside it. Looks like someone from Army forgot it behind and is going to get a kick for it.

Can self propelled artillery like vajra or m109 be used in akhnoor dagger area?
Probably not possible in poonch sector due to mountains.

Akhnoor is a highly tankable area.

Yes i thought so,pak launched several armour attacks there in 1965 and 71.Given their current superiority in SPG numbers until all vajras are inducted wouldnt pak have a firepower advantage in this area if they mass mobile spg firepower.Though m109 has pretty bad range of 18-22 kms for a 155mm gun,a tracked vehicle on plain land will have mobility for shoot and scoot.

After failed land assault, probably tried to sneak in a bomb run to retake posts.Fled as usual.
Just in case, better put a SPYDER and MRSAM(even though we probably have 1 or 2 only atm) battery in the area.

Exclusive: India ready for another strike against Pakistan

Written by: Jayanta Ghosal, New Delhi [ Published on: April 02, 2019 20:35 IST ]

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held meetings with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and other dignitaries from the defence ministry, over its readiness to initiate war against Pakistan.

The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) discussed the future strategy on Pakistan, wherein Ajit Doval informed PM Modi that the three forces were ready for any action against the neighbouring country. He said they were only waiting for a political sanction.

To this end, PM Modi assured the forces -- Air, Navy and Army -- a free hand, while also asking them to ensure that no civilian died in Pakistan and that the targets were military-related.

The key takeaways from the meeting were:

1) The attacks will be target-specific

2) No non-military targets
(WTF - no Non-military targets - meaning only military targets.. not even terrorist targets!)
3) Not only Pak-occupied Kashmir, the targets can also be inside Pakistan

4) The attacks will be pro-active, not reactive
Why India today tv is using this kind of language

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held meetings with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and other dignitaries from the defence ministry, over its readiness to initiate war against Pakistan."

This is getting interesting..... Hope our guys strictly follow the SOP's......Many casualties are results of ignoring SOPs

One of our previous weakness, if we can call it that, has been that after every successful offensive we dig in and shift onto the defensive, awaiting their strike/riposte. That fundamentally hands over the initiative over to the enemy: They get to choose their timing and location of retaliation. That happened right after Balakot strikes: We just shifted onto the defensive without any prompting, ensuring that the enemy was perfectly free to plan own offensive without worrying about potential attack from our side.

That cannot be allowed to continue: It is imperative that we hold the initiative at all times, if necessary, mounting supporting offensives of own right after a major offensive, if nothing, then just to keep the pressure on and tie down forces/resources that could be used to support the offensive. A truely aggressive fighting force, like the Israeli AF would have mounted relentless provocations after the strike to tie down PAF air assets and Air HQ, putting them on the backfoot, worried about any further IsAF offensive, in effect establishing and dominating the battlespace.

Did you guys notice that the Pak Minister who threatened us saying that there will be no sound of Bells in temples has suddenly gone underground. Not a single word from him. The threat of Nukes has also not been stated. No more meetings of Pak NAC and finally they are begging US to somehow stop India.
recall my previous and oft repeated posts. Pakistan has no balls to fight us and nukes will never be used as they know what India will do. If only Atal Bihari Chaarpayee had allowed our forces to cross LOC during Kargil, we would not have had terror on our soil for last two decades.
