I think Indian forces adhere to it. I don't know how a particular piece of information can be used. I can guess someways though.

The philosophy of our operations and disclosure ought to be that when you conduct small operations as we've done in Surgical Strike -1 & 2, don't be miserly and tardy with the info to be shared. Do it on time to build credibility such that when these strikes get routine & bigger which it will, thanks to PA's obduracy, you aren't obliged to disclose anything as you've already built up credibility within & without.

By releasing the info now, we have Blunted Pakistani ambitions at building a false narrative and called out their bluff once again. While our spin doctors will proclaim that this was their plan all along given hindsight, we know for a fact that the GoI's hand was forced. But I wouldn't mind we floating this narrative and gloating at ISPR's severe discomfiture.

Folks pls pls trust the IAF and GOi. Seriously, what was shared today is noob stuff. If the Pakistanis or Chinese are surprised by what was shown and are now scrambling to counter it, then I'm sorry to say that they are not even worth being called adversaries.

However, I would never make the mistake of underestimating my opponent. I credit the Pakistanis with the intelligence to know we possess these capabilities.


What I can say for sure is that what you and I haven't seen yet, we probably won't even believe if we saw it.

Relax, have a drink( I just had a lively lagavaulin 16) and watch a movie. I heard there's a new marvel movie in town.

If you guys remember the ministry of defence opened up some new positions for info warfare. I think they realised not having a dedicated team for psyops screwed them in terms of perception management to an extent. I can't quote that black ops guy but be assured my friend that it won't happen again. As for this situation I think we are getting the narrative under control.

AFAIK, US fighters are out of contention for any tender after US told Parrikar that they can render any missile and aircraft unusable produced and supplied by USA.

There can be other reasons. No us government can defend in front of congress what kind of a moron sold an f 16 to Pakistan to fight terrorists. Accepting an f 16 kill will only lead to that.

China Sends New Naval Destroyer Fleet to Somali Waters for Escort Mission

China's 32nd convoy fleet to the Gulf of Aden and Somali waters set sail from a military port in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang Province on Thursday, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy official WeChat account announced that same day.

The naval fleet includes the guided missile destroyer Xi'an, the missile frigate Anyang and the Gaoyanghu, a comprehensive supply ship.

This will be the first time that the Xi'an and Anyang have participated in an escort mission.

One of the country's new generation of self-developed Type-052C guided missile destroyers, the Xi'an, which entered into service in February 2015, possesses over-the-horizon strike capability at sea.

The Anyang, a domestically developed frigate, entered into service in April 2018 and is capable of attacking surface ships and submarines alone or in conjunction with other naval forces. It also has strong long-range alert and air defense capabilities. It is part of China's new generation of main combat ships.
