Yesterday when I criticised this news and the reporter, I was told that they are a reputed publication. Now what? And what about DGISPR, does he not know if any such counting of F-16s took place or not? This shows the nature and class of US journalists and Pakistan Army. Both belong to gutter class.
He must have got confused between a "solid guy coming out into the liquid stuff" vs. a "liquid stuff cumming out of a solid guy"

When people were saying that they are a reputable publication it didn't mean that we should believe them. It meant that our need to counter and take control of the narrative had simply increased. Which we did, and now their reputation will probably go down somewhat.

Presently IAF remains tasked with securing Indian Airspace & fine tuning its op procedures for executing all orders that GoI may ask of it to execute.
There is no additional action being undertaken by IAF. Any scrambles/sleepless nights to PAF are purely coincidental & d not bear resemblance to any intent of any operation to be undertaken by IAF.
