I may not trust Indian Express but these things are coming out to be true, there has been de-escalation already with Pakistan, though some bit of firing on the LoC always continues but these days other than Baba and Twitter it is not reported elsewhere, there were no strong statements from India this time during the BRI meet in China and also listing wasn’t linked to Pulwama.

The de-escalation happened the day when Abhinandan was returned. Since then there have been only ongoing vigilance by armed forces and normal skirmishes at LOC. Except that listing of Masood Azhar is no high value to India in comparison to de-escalation, silence on BRI and hamper Indo-Iran relations. He is just a pawn.
You're wrong. If tomm, we decide to target him on a/c of no action by the Pakistanis, we can do it and they can't complain.The world community wouldn't bother. That's the idea.
